OMFG we've done it. Can't believe it nerves are shot to pieces they should have been dead and buries second half with the sitters we missed and then we have to endure the double bar hit phew.

When you look at the league table, Bradford who took third were only 8 points ahead of us. Without the injuries and daft giveaway goals at home we would have finished 2nd or 3rd easily.

Onto Walsall, perfectly capable of beating them over two legs, and a potential final against 2 sides we’ve looked good against in all 4 games. Definetly doable.

Any chance of us getting a right-back fit for the play-offs? I mean in all fairness Mandy saved us from there today but definitely feel it’s more beneficial for us if he’s further forwards.

Yes. That last 10 minutes were unbearable, but we always said the luck would even out over a season.
Special mention for the ref who let the game flow, the commentator who was unbiased and fair, and to Metcalfe who reminds me more and more of a young Tom Fennoughty, and there's no higher praise. Not forgetting Kristian Dennis, ex town, who scored Carlisle's second.
Never thought for one second we could do it, AND WE DID!

Don't watch town if you suffer with heart problems. We were as scrappy as you get 2nd half but somehow held on for a well deserved win. Give the lads a rest and a bonus payment and on to our next game. Players returning will help too, exciting times.
