Looking at the numbers-

Tory vote drops by 605 while reform rise by 606

Lib Dem’s up by 151 and labours down by 168.

Two main parties deserted by voters
A new hope.

Where did he say they couldn't vote for who they liked? The people of this country have yet again shown their unerring ability to vote for those they like ie spivs, hatemongers & charlatans. Why change the habit of decades?

You ok hun?

Bad day?

It's interesting that Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Shropshire (and to a certain extent Devon, Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire) all swung the opposite way to Reform and mostly elected Lib Dems as the alternative to the Liars & Con Artists!.
"Do you think I'm here for your amusement" & good riddance to bad rubbish

All you’ve got to do is look at seats won and %s. Yes it’s been a decent day fir the Lib Dem as well but nationally this has been unimaginable for Reform
Edit, Reform gain FULL control of Doncaster council from Labour…
Reform tanks arnt only parked on Labour lawns, they’re in net zero zealots Millibands living room.
Delicious stuff.

I know the Torys weren't much good at running DCC but what will Reforms agenda be other than stop the boats ?

Remember DCC wasn't Labour

The thing I love most about Nigel Farage is that the left despise him!
Good to see that left wing bigot OBrien losing it today. And that’s before the full extent of Reforms success became apparent.

I’ve gotta say I’ve heard some very strong language used against the labour leader and the direction he is taking the party from people who’d normally be labour voters - immigration and WFA are akin to thatchers poll tax.
A new hope.

Be very interesting watching these lot trying to run all the councils they’ve won. Loads of new inexperienced people doing things they’ve never done before. Could be a breath of fresh air but I suspect it’ll be a bit of a disaster. What’s the phrase? Let’s see.

Have u seen the state of councils up and down the country mate, including Derbyshire? Councils run by the main stream political parties with councillors who have many years experience making a total hash of things. Maybe another non immigration reason why Reform smashed it this week eh?

I'm fine thank you, although I must admit conversing with patronising halfwits is likely to put a dampner on things.

The entire country just seems awful, UK seems to be in a death spiral as a whole. Makes me sad.

Our councils are failing largely because of central government underfunding them for decades. That isn't going to change. I hope the performative cruelty will be some compensation to you.

Laughing? Well whatever happens it can’t be worse than the actual real vomit inducing way this government have acted.
[/quote I make no excuse for the horror show that is our current government but if you think things can't go much lower, you're in for a rude awakening.

Until people wake up to the fact that our Economic system & the Political system that serves it is completely broken, we are doomed to watch this slow but accelerating decline for the rest of our lives.
Our mainstream parties INCLUDING Reform offer no solutions to our real systemic problems because they are wedded to this system. They serve the interests that are causing our decline.
