Is it a case of the Accrington keeping some back as they are still trying to avoid relegation and may want more home fans in? Not sure on the make up of their ground and if a section for away fans could be used for home fans?

That said they are 6 points clear of the bottom two with a better goal difference so you would think they are pretty much safe.

Requires a 10 goal swing in Carlisle’s favour for Accy to get sucked into it. Carlisle would need a good win when they meet.

Actually would require an 11 goal swing as Accy have scored way more

Are we expecting any change to the kick off time/date

Don't Sky normally move all the leagues to different times/date on the last day to provide more coverage of each? Yet League One and Two remain at normal time

I wondered if Sky+ maybe changes that this season but surely the 3pm blackout applies so they can't show any?

EFL already confirmed it will be 3pm. Championship is 12:30pm then League 1 and League 2 are both 3pm.

When Sky announced the new TV coverage they did state that all EFL season opening and closing day games will be shown live. Perhaps they have negociated their way around the 3pm blackout otherwise surely they would have been shifted.

There was 3,380 there yesterday with 1K+ being Carlisle fans you can't imagine they'd be hoping to put home fans on the away end(not that its possible, logistically) in fact home fans wouldn't fill 2 sides.
Surely they'll allocate more.

Football must be the only industry that deters paying customers

Our allocation is less than half the terrace capacity and half of the side (rather than the full side as Bradford were given).

With crowds the size Accrington get, surely every penny must count.

Pretty sure one of the many twitter rants their chairman had related to how much they lost at times.

They would potentially be losing out on approx £20,000 if they don't allocate more tickets. Plus any sales within the ground for food and drink. But it seems clubs don't seem to bother about this nowadays. In any other company the directors would be wanting to know if they were losing out on Sales and Revenue.

Honestly mate, that's just crap, we all know how many away days you do.. there's gotta be a system put in place soon..

I luckily will have access to 4 via my works sponsorship of the Football League, they will just be in the home end which is far from ideal, but also better than not being there. Hoping they are mathematically safe after Sat and it's a dead rubber and they let us have some more, which I think will happen. Accy atleast is probably one of the safest places to go in the home end anyway if needs be, ground will be half empty

Do the home fans still pay on the gate up there? My lad wants to go but missed out cos he was at college (doubt he'd have got 1 anyway). He went to Wimbledon but this was always gonna be a struggle with how it's played out.
Here we go again!

I might just do that...

With Burnley getting promoted and if Blackburn do well next season, it really does put pressure on Accy to recruit supporters.

They'll be town all over the home ends if we have something to play for which hopefully we do. Sensible thing would be to release more tickets but by the sounds of it, it doesn't seem likely currently. Hopefully common sense wins and they release another 500-1000, whatever they release wont make general sale.

If they're safe from relegation it would be strange if they don't.

Maybe we could show cfc there are sufficient numbers interested some way because we have to block purchase second and third allocations.

The fact we sold out in minutes and they will be able to see the demand that was placed on the ticketing site so will be fully aware of demand.
