Coco needs to be on the left

He needs to be on the pitch. Oh, he was! I hadn’t noticed.

We just stopped playing football with 15 minutes to go. I just don’t think Madden is at it and we lack pace taking off Pebble and Olekigbe.

Never got the ball to Colclough when he came on.

All in all disappointing against a team who are one dimensional with long throws but not much else.

Basically three wins and we probably make playoffs on our better goal difference.

Over the years it's the Town way, not doing things easy.

Yes a very good point, but 3 were there for the taking if we had showed some urgency in the last 15-20 mins against a very average team comfortably in the play off places.

Looking at the fixtures

Colchester play Donny,Salford away then Barrow at home - I'd give them 3 more points

Grimsby play Port Vale,MK Dons away then
Wimbledon at home- I'd give 1 more point

We beat Bradford and Morecambe at home we will be looking good going into the final game

Come on Town, go for it on Monday

That was a solid away performance, one of the best I’ve seen this season. Everyone of our players can leave Wimbledon tonight with their head’s held high. They gave all they had.

Fleck was brilliant and so so was Mandy. Metcalfe had a cracking game too.

Bradford won’t be taking their next game lightly.

Win on Monday and we could be in a playoff position with Colchester/Grimsby playing at Doncaster/Port Vale
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

Makes you wonder why commentators aren’t managers/coaches, they’d be great at it.

What I'm saying is even they figure out how one dimensional we are on the basis of just one match. Christ on a bike we're not battling relegation here we're chasing a play-off spot, there's no need to be so apprehensive and play like such a bunch of pussies.

Just in the pub from the ground digesting a very good performance today..Fleck makes such a difference..great performance all round & considering today’s results…a great point! Our superior goal difference may..may! Make a difference

We managed no shots on target and forced no saves, we scored no goals, we got one point and didn't concede any goals. They had 13 shots, 4 were on target. They skied a handful of shots taken from just outside our box. Boot made a handful of saves.

I don't want to to be combative, but how was that a great performance? We got a point against a distinctly average team with a lad with a long throw. Could have been worse for sure. But 'great performance'? not for me.

This right here. It's mind-numbing to watch, we're better than this middle of the road boring dross.

Makes you wonder how we have managed to be in with a shout of the play offs with a bunch of apprehensive pussies.

So the scintillating stuff on show recently has really brought leakage to your love length has it?

Don't get some of the grumbles on here this afternoon. We've gone away to a very good side, who arguably should be in the top 3, nullified them and probably should have have won.

Our performances against the top 10 this season has been mostly excellent, and if you based the season on it we are comfortably playoffs.

It's the results against the crap that has done us.

Love to finish 7th, but 8th even as a shit consolation prize looks well within our grasps now. Given the injuries and crap luck we'd have all taken that after the final home game against Maidenhead last season.

Who are you and how have you hacked Gordon's Profile?

No need for that but whatever gets you hot and sweaty under your quilt.

I can point to a few games where I’ve not been happy but today isn’t one of those games. Apart from the Tranmere game our recent run has got us into a position where we are still within a shout. What’s not to love.

We were disciplined, albeit costing us opportunities at the other end.

We've pulled those above in by a point (granted due to them getting battered) but had we sacrificed to go for it we were very likely to get caught out and lose

4th top scorers in the division probably indicates we're doing alright in that respect, it's the defence that's the problem which came away with a clean sheet today

We failed to score against the best defence in the division

Points a good result

Yet you want one of the players who try getting rid of for slapping a jumped up little scroat who was giving it the big 'I am' to him when he was on a quiet night out with his partner. Thank you Mr Puritan, The Mayflower is calling.

I think it's classed as a good away performance gaining a point.
Monday could be different as we are at home, probably want to make a statement with a win against a team up there and creep into the playoffs if results go our way but I wouldn't be surprised playing for a point on Monday and go gunning for maximum points in the last couple of fixtures.
But second and third guessing what Cook will do gives me a headache! Roll on Monday! I'd obviously love the 3 points cos we owe Bradford one!
Exciting end to the fixtures and could end up with some bonus games and a promotion 😉

Funnily enough I am hot and sweaty under my quilt right now with the worst case of man flu I've ever had, so feeling extra grouchy lol. It's just so frustrating, some of these teams are absolute gash and sometimes it's like we don't even try to put them under the cosh. With the staff and players (even with all the injuries) we have at our disposal we shouldn't be finishing games like this without a shot on target. We're far better than this.

Going away and taking a point from Wimbledon is a decent result in my eyes. If we don't get into the playoffs it won't be today's draw that's that's caused it. Injuries and the loss of Markanday and Berry are the main reasons we aren't higher up the league. Any other team in this league would be in the relegation zone if they'd had the poor luck with injuries we've had.
I'll be going to enjoy a cracking match Easter Monday and hopefully 3points.

It's far from his first time, it's not even his second time. Didn't realise in order to have a go on a football pitch you also have to smack the shit out of people in a pub toilet as well. Guess Mo Salah's in Wetherspoons bogs all the time leathering folk is he.

Neither team seemed interested in really going for it.

Agreed, but at least they had a few shots on target.

Excuse my frustration. I'm a fan of Cook but I don't get this.

He brings on Grigg for Olakigbe with 10 or minutes so to go. There's a case that he should have done this earlier, but nonetheless it's a positive substitution. A proven goalscorer on the pitch.

I'd have thought hat we'll be wanting to get the ball to Grigg, to add a bit of energy to our play, to get it forward earlier. So what do we do? More of the same passing it around across the back and in midfield.

On a couple of instances when we actually did get the ball forward in the last 10 we looked like we would do what we should have done today; beat a very average team and put more pressure on the top 7.

It's a point yes, but it's another 2 dropped IMHO.

Careful, Chris, tha’ll be classed as a Cook critic next!!!

Any road up, some might class today’s result of a draw away from home against 5th in the league as a missed opportunity.

I tend to think the actual missed opportunities today were -

Colchester at home against 10 man Crewe for over 50 minutes and missing a penalty just before full time. Had they won they would have gone 5 points clear of us.

7th placed Grimsby exciting their fans by slipping to a mere 0-4 defeat at home against Tshimanga’s Swindon. Had they won they would have gone 6 points clear of us.

Salford also lost at home against Accrington. Had they won they would have been 2 points ahead of us.

So, these results serve to remind us that anything can happen in the final run in. We have two home and one away games left. Let’s hope we don’t slip up as the others have or the others slip up more than us.
