Mandy yes.

Worth a try.

Dobra lacks the physicality to compete in there, though...

Why wouldn't we take our most attacking threat and make him a shield for our defence, taking away literally all of his best assets?

Dobra further back, no thanks. It's not that bad losing the ball further forward, but in front of the defence, no thanks. I think it's great that folk post this kind of stuff, and let's face it, no one's wrong. I just think of all the times Dobra has picked up the ball in that area, and lost it. He's too valuable further forward in my opinion, but each has a valued opinion.
I think that we need a young version of Mike Jones or Sam Morsy, so anyone any ideas of who we can bring in.

Anyone else thought about playing Ryan Boot on the left side of midfield?

Not recently, but what about playing young Thompson up top to pander to the big un up front shouts, 6ft6", he must get on the end of one or two long kicks from Will Grigg in goal.

Well here’s a question, if Paul cook decided to play 442, would dobra never play in the middle ?

As he’s a more than decent manager I’d expect him to play a system that suits the players he has not shoehorn players into a formation no matter what.

Playing dobra deeper would completely negate the qualities he has a footballer.

I see Boot as a tricky winger with Colclough donning the gloves. But with Dobra acting as a second (no handballs) keeper alongside him. For corners they could use the piggy back method.

We should also leave the rolled up kick-in netting behind the goal that we are defending. Dobra and Colclough should sneak it and stretch it across our goal if things get a bit busy. It would need sneaking to the other end at half time obviously.

I think that Grimes and Palmer should play up front. They should alternate with stewards, switching on and off the pitch to catch out the defenders. Boot should wear his goalie kit as the winger. But no gloves - that would be ridiculous.

We should only play on the East stand side of the pitch. Never straying onto the West stand side ever. This would be a nod to the reduced facilities available to East Standers as we'd get a premium view of the exciting (and what action it would be!).

I could see him being one of the top 2 playing off a traditional no. 9. But CM never.

Think, whilst Bonnyman is giving so much thought to the team,it is time to give up his blind prejudice vendetta against WG, admit to being wrong, and all move happily onwards and upwards.Yes?.....

With, of course, Jeff Hall and the Fieldmouse as full backs and Tank and his mate from the tunnel in central defence...

Cook has built a squad with his preferred formation in mind, so trying to fit players into positions they're not suitable for is just a waste of that player's abilities. Dobra is an attacking midfielder, and a very good one at that. He hasn't the physical strength to be either a defensive midfielder or play in the centre of a 442. We have Naylor, Fleck, Metcalf, Oldaker and Banks who can play there, but we only have one who can do what Dobra does.

Yes, but players still need certain attributes to be able to play certain roles. Dobra can’t tackle - he’s not bad for a winger/#10 but for a midfielder is is not good.
