Another thread to delight my fans.

Even in my gambling hey day - thankfully now over - I never bet on correct scores as they were just too unpredictable. Must be the most difficult bet of all to call correctly. I did frequently bet on goals over such as 3 or more but never correct scores. In the same way I never did the lottery (apart from work syndicates) as I thought the odds of winning anything were ridiculously poor.
When I see the correct score thread before a game I never contribute and think why bother and wonder how many people get it right. I suppose 2-1 is the best chance.
Has anyone had decent gambling wins from correct score betting?

We always bet on half time full time results for both teams, get odds up to 55-1 for those usually

I used to do the scorecasts and had a big win (for me) years back.

I only really bet now when the offers are on and not on correct scores (have you seen the prediction league!!? - I'd be broke!)

I've had a few over the years but like you say very difficult. The one win I remember was backing us to win 2-0 v Bury in the Wembley play-off final. Paid for my day out that one.
