I'd have chosen Pepple, for superbly creating the chance which Banks missed.

Pepple played well with no help up front. Dobra was terrible.

A merry go round manager that seems to milk every job for its penny. Like the latter day Martin Allen or Micky Adams.

Not really.

It was never going to happen with 3 games in a week and just comeback from a serious injury as you well know Cookie doesn't risk injured players coming back he never has for any club he has been at and he told you in his interview too

Michael Cheek is the same age as Grigg and has played 40 times this season, if Grigg wasn't injured, will he have played as many?

I’m going to say no to VDC, he clearly isn’t going to be here next season. No point bringing him back now.

I'm expecting a few changes after that 2nd half satdi, PC was clearly not happy in his interview...

He started 34 out of the 40 he was fit for last season, so he might well have started 40 out of 46 this year, if fit.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Clearly not happy? We'd be worried if he was happy with the second half capitulation. No contest, to the point of being disturbing. The resilience of a snowball in the Sahara desert.

A big fat no to VDC when he's played he's been very poor and no where near good enough.

And he’s been set a challenge to get fit.. which tells you all you need to know.

It could be anything from 3-6 changes. More likely the upper end.

he was signed when we only had Shecks at RB on the books (who was injured IIRC) so probably needs must and a bit of a gamble.

Agreed, I’d like to see McFadzean, Fleck, Duffy and Grigg start tonight. Looking forward to it and hoping to see a reaction after the weekend. Another nice evening for watching town . COYB

Don’t add context to one of his many moans. He's not interested in stuff like that. If/when Paul cook leaves I’m hopeful Walton gets the job. Every signing will be perfect, we won’t suffer any sort of setbacks and I’m guessing it’s promotions all the way , premier league in a couple of years with no defeats. Can’t believe it.

Boot; Mandeville, Palmer, McFadzean, Gordon; Metcalfe, Fleck; Duffy, Madden, Olakigbe; Grigg.

Subs: Thompson, Grimes, Naylor, Banks, Dobra, Colclough, Pepple

Dropped some big players there.
