According to most we needed 5 wins in 7 (or 4 wins and 2 draws per the supercomputer predictions) so now we have one last game to get them.

I was doubtful when I started the thread. Made it exciting after a bad spell but injuries have killed us. Yep there’s still a chance but tbh I’m happy so far with consolidation.

I think next year will be a promotion year.

Tough (or easier) decisions for Cookie in next game…we’ll see McFadz back, Fleck & Grigg, plus Colclough

Boot showed his inconsistency today at fault for two goals…but don’t think he’ll get replaced by Thompson.
There’s no pressure on us now, we are chasing to make it interesting…I still think there will be some surprise results until the season ends.

Have to agree unfortunately, today was a huge game and we fluffed our lines big time. Never say never though, but if we don’t get 6 points from these 2 home games Tuesday and Saturday then any slim chance will be gone.

Can personally see us finishing 8th with Grimsby snatching that last play off spot. The fact they still have a minus goal difference in 7th tells you that you don’t need any real quality to be in the shake up.

The difference between us and Grimsby is the amount of drawn games. They sneaked draws into wins, we let wins become draws.

The drawn home games in August and September did us ultimately.
