Just 50 years ago that he was a major part of the Matlock side that won the Trophy at Wembley. Great day, great player. And then they went and hammered Mansfield at Field Mill in the cup the following season.

Went to both. I Remember the police getting on our bus coming out of Mansfailed and telling us to face away from the windows… Not much has changed there then.

On this occasion you have a point, but is there actually a team member you DO like?

Been saying for ages play fleck, he had a great game but when you compare performances against a ten men bottom of div 2 side to performances against top div 1 sides then it becomes ridiculous, let’s hope he can string 6 or 7 performances in against better sides with 11?players before we jump to conclusions

Pretty sure they will have wanted to play Fleck for ages but it was a case of being patient and him being ready to play. Dont think you needed to be a tactical genius to see that he was going to do ok for us once he was fit and ready.

Exactly, the bloated back room staff would have been witnessing his ability once he got back on the training ground and patience become the order of the day. Let's hope they've got it right.

The episode did serve one purpose, to give the ones who like a good whinge a bit of ammo.

I did actually say I agreed your point, though I thought his performance Tuesday and his cameos have shown to me he has class, what I did ask is if you have any player in the current squad that you would post positive comments about?

If we can get to a point where we can play a spine of McFadz, Fleck, Grigg for the easter games (for 70 mins) I think we'll make the play offs and if they can stay fit for the play offs, i can't see anyone being able to cope with that spine.

Agree 100% with this. I'm hoping Cook is bluffing the Trannies and starts Fleck tomorrow. I hope Grigg also starts and McF is on the bench fit and raring to enter the fray.

I will guess that the number of negative posts on Will Grigg alone will far outweigh all your positive posts on players.
