Has there been a better display from a midfielder this season that of John Fleck tonight, he was insanely very good in every single way. Passing, control, controlled pace, always dictating, always pushing forward. Absolutely superb display.

Have to say closely followed by Metcalfe who had another superb game.

He was fantastic but you have to temper things with what he was up against. Carlisle have given up. He didn’t need to break sweat. Tranmere will be very different. They are fighting for their lives and will be bang up for it. I hope he plays but it will be a very different game and a more valid test.

That's the John Fleck we all wanted to see, if he can prove his fitness he's worth keeping on. Absolute class tonight.
Happiness is like a cake. Have too much; and you get sick of it.

Fleck .... superb tonight. Lets hope he stays fit and we can keep him another year. Admitted bottom of league opposition with 10 men but he still was outstanding. Got to play Saturday on that performance.

Tranmere were as bad at our place as Carlisle were tonight to be honest.

Many of us have watched us long enough to appreciate what a good performance that was from fleck, but are realistic enough to realise he had nobody pressing him and pretty much the freedom of the town to ping it around like Paul scholes in his prime.

I thought Jenson and Banksy were excellent tonight.

It's good to see what Flecky offers, I think we all needed a reminder.

At the expense of DJ, our midfield and performances have evolved.

it was worth the wait, fleck was outstanding, not only is his ability on the ball superb but he orchestrated the team so well, yes we were playing an awful side but it was thoroughly enjoyable to see him in action, even when carlisle did try to get close, he's more than happy to take the ball under pressure, the know how of what to do and when 10/10, notable drop off all round when he left the pitch.

One other thing with fleck, that some may not like, but he was in the refs ear as well. He was straight up to him when dobra was flattened. We’ve not had someone that does that sort of trying to help the ref ref the game as such. He was the one in the refs ear about their keeper taking ages a well.

Fleck has played at a much higher level and it really showed tonight. Yes, Carlisle were a poor side, but I can't say I've seen a better display by a midfielder from either a town or the opposition. I think he silenced one or two critics tonight.

An area most Spireites would prefer not to be required, but as we all know a big part of the current game and one as you rightly say we have not really involved ourselves in, and at times has cost us.Not something we want to be involved with but probably a necessity now.

Been calling for him to play for a while but cook has not given him enough time, nevertheless I’m not getting carried away , it was bottom of the league side and ten men, can’t be judged till he strings a few performances in
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

He has to play at Tranmere surely after that. If he can give us another hour there then he's onto something. With Naylor presumably over his illness to be able to be on the bench we will be have options. Oldaker to stand down again probably.
