Is your conclusion then that nobody is interested in what's wrong with him or when he is available for selection? My bet is that Greenie has been silenced. Not a Dickie Bird on the subject.

We know he's out for the season. Anything else isn't that important to anyone but him and and the club at the moment (imo).

I'd keep Palmer over Grimes but if we want to progress on the pitch, neither should be part of the squad next season.

Agree with a heavy heart, as Palmer has been class since he came back. He should get a L2 gig no problem. I think Grimes might stick around for 1 more year though. Left siders are hard to find at the best of times.
We’re asking our centre backs to play high, on the halfway line then we need more pace/athleticism back there. Big summer ahead

Have we seen obviously better CH's than ours in league matches this season? Not in my opinion. Can anybody name one?

On the other hand, have we seen obviously better CH's than ours in the cups? Yep. Rotherham's.

If MacFazdean gets over the knee injury, in my humble opinion he'll get another year, whether he plays in the first team or just has a run out with the lads.
He's far beyond anyone we have, and that includes Dunkley, who I have serious worries about.
Palmer, on current form is far too good to let go or drop this season. He wants to stay, which is a big plus for me so I'd give him another year as stand in for MacFazdean, because if Dunkley is fit he has shown he's capable of playing on the left of the centre pairing.
The one I really feel for is Tyrone Williams, he was playing above and beyond until his injury and even put off an operation on his shoulder for the cause.

Indeed, Dunkley started the season as the left sided CB with Naylor on the right. I too am worried by Dunkley - the radio silence is not good.

Weird thing to say as the season is nearly over and squad thinning is about to commence and the availability of Dunkley next season is key to retention/recruitment. Nobody should have interest in that?

Wasn't the last thing that was said that he had an operation or maybe I just dreamt that?

It's anecdotal I think. My understanding is that he got a bad neck injury, recovered such that he was able to train except for heading, had an operation that I thought would see him back in the squad by now, yet he's not.

If that's right then it's surely worthy of debate on here and some reporting.

sometimes injuries are so rare, unusual and serious that people dont need a running commentary. I feel incredibly sorry for the bloke as it obviously isnt the run of the mill type injury.

These will come to slow the game down, frustrate our play and try to nick a goal on the counter or set piece. Patience will be the key but we must drive at them and attack.

They looked good against Doncaster before the first goal went in.
After that they were chasing the game so got found out.
I can’t see them being a pushover.

The advantage hopefully for us is Carlisle need to win to help stay in the league so that may stop them putting 10 men behind the ball

My guess is they will start like a train and throw everything going forward, hope to nick a goal then 10 men in defence.

They will fight like a tiger to stay up.

The DT reported a 'successful' op on a neck injury in late January but not heard owt since.
These go to eleven.

We can have an interest in it but it's rather needy to expect a summary of his medical situation at a time when he's likely unclear about his own future.
