It was confirmed on 1866 that VDC has been added to the squad list so you would expect him to appear sooner than later.

I wouldn't change anything beyond VDC on the bench (reluctantly) as back up. Potentially look to the weekend for McFadzean to come back for Palmer who will count himself unfortunate to drop out as he's been a new man and almost faultless.

Absolutely no way should Palmer come out, he’s been an absolute rock. If anyone’s coming out it’s Grimes (who’s also been much improved btw). But in all honesty, until either do anything wrong I wouldn’t be changing the 2 CB’s from a back 4 that’s just gone 5 unbeaten, they’ve struck up a solid partnership in recent weeks.

I'm pretty sure that's what will be happening.

Can't change the backline now. On one hand boot has had to save them about 7 or 8 times in the last 5 games (that's what he's there for) but on the other hand we've only conceded 3 in 6 and the centre backs have looked solid. Great team effort and they deserve to carry on. Palmer has had a couple of motm games and an average rating of 7.58 (flashscores).

Leave it and what will be will be. Just enjoy it if we can
Here we go again!

No need to change for Carlisle. Looking ahead we will have options at CB if required - Naylor, Araujo and McF.

He might but suspect he'll leave him to have 20/25 mins at the end.

The advantage hopefully for us is Carlisle need to win to help stay in the league so that may stop them putting 10 men behind the ball

They're about down already and another defeat will just about nail the coffin lid down. Can't see them coming and playing 3 up top but there should be more than enough space to play in and around them.

Carlisle need at least 6 wins from 7, to even be in with a chance of surviving. If they come for a draw they will be beaten, which means they will have to come out and attack which again goes in our favour.

Nah they’ll look to stay in it as long as possible and nick a goal at some point. They won’t come and play to leave themselves wide open as they know they’ll struggle.

The fat lady is very much in the final warm up stage for them, and one silly early defensive mistake could see them heading into the cesspit for next season. I wouldn't think they'd be going gung-ho from the first whistle, although a draw wouldn't probably help their cause either. I'm hoping for a really attacking performance from us and around five goals with none coming from Carlisle.

I read they were on the front foot at the start of the game at Donny on Saturday and should have been ahead before going behind after 30+ minutes. Doncaster then took control. First goal important as always

We need to avoid being the usual charity case to struggling teams.Vital to get the ball forward quickly and bring Pepple/Grigg into the game as much as possible from the off, hopefully getting an early lead then adding to it.
