WASPI have no actual fair claim to what they're trying to claim. Labour were wrong to promise the payout (if that's what they did), but it's the right decision not to go ahead with it. The Government are also tabling a law to override the sentencing ruling, this wasn't a Labour decision: https://www.bbc.co.u...es/c0m9n4m7w3jo

I know that doesn't fit in with the literally every single thing bad in the country is due to Labour narrative that is currently present, though.

No, but Yvette cooper among others stood with at protests supporting them and saying they would do right by them.

I know and you know it. They have now thrown them under the bus

Yep, politicians lie to get into power and then backtrack on promises made, no surprises there. Still the correct decision to not proceed with paying out what is essentially a fraudulent claim. I have precisely zero sympathy for them.

I’m beginning to wonder - this is pensioners (WASPI) pensioners WFA. Welfare and disability benefits slashed by Labour. And now white working class people being subjected to second class justice and sentencing by a labour government.

Funnily enough, the less affluent, and older generation were also the demographic most likely to have voted for Brexit.

This Starmer and the Labour metropolitan elites revenge isn’t it.

6 police turning up at home and arrested a couple in front of their 3 years old cos they complained about a school. What the fk of a country are we turning into? Labour Muslim MP campaigns with other Labour MP's in parlimentary time for an airport to be built in Pakistan. Just a glint of a future parliament and what it will represent once the UK Pakistani population takes off and more of these MPs are elected.

Britain is broken and in decline. If Reform can't stop it, who can?

I’d imagine that would be part of the foreign aid package and nothing more than that?

Can you define specifically what campaigning he has done? I can't see that he's asked for British taxpayer funding for this, just that he wants an airport in this place in Pakistan because a portion of his constituents travel to and from there and it would make their life easier.

It's funny, because this will be pounced on by thousands of boomers on Facebook and Twitter who will share misinformation to all and sundry about how this MP is demanding that British taxpayer's money goes towards building a new airport in Pakistan.

I think he’s questioning why this is being discussed at all in Parliament

What’s it got to do with us?

And the fact that his primary concern seems to be the fact that members of his constituency are having a 3 hour drive once they arrive in Pakistan, as opposed to focusing on the welfare of his constituents who are living in squalor and what health officials are calling an increasingly dangerous environment due to the on going refuse collection strikes.

Did Jolly say taxpayer money was being used? Or did you add that part?

If an MP from a primarily white, affluent area of the country was asking for an airport to be built in Spain which allowed a portion of their constituents to travel to and from their second homes more easily you wouldn't be saying a word m8.

(He's probably a crap MP, who knows, but this isn't an issue in and of itself from what I can see)

No, Carlsberg didn't say that, but that is absolutely the narrative which'll be spread by the right across social media as anyone who has any experience of social media in the last 10 years will attest to; the lie will be halfway around the world before the truth has got its trousers on.

Talking of Yvette Cooper…regarding the huge increase in illegal immigrants this Labour government have presided over she says the Uk is holding an “unprecedented Border Security and Organised Immigration Crime Summit”.
Yep I can see the gangs trembling at the knees in Northern France from here.

You’re absolutely miles off mate, and respectfully you’ve always had a blind spot when it comes to media influencing people’s opinions. Twitter is a right wing cesspit - this is by design. It wasn’t before he purchased it.

Talking of Elon, we’ve now gone from left wing eco zealots destroying paintings and defacing historic buildings and stopping people’s everyday lives in the quest to save the planet to now destroying eco friendly electric cars. Make it make sense.

People don’t like Nazi’s mate. Well, I mean, plenty of people in your party do, but most decent people don’t.

Musk could end homelessness in the US and still have over $100 billion in his sky.
But he doesn’t

But he doesn’t

So could Rothschild, or the royal family, indeed
anyone with the political will and wealth could do that like the Saudi royal family and so on and so on.

Imagine what the Saudis could do for good with the money they have spent on their pro league. But they prefer to buy Man City and Newcastle and set up a league or host high profile boxing matches to sports wash the human rights abuses in that part of the world

Your point being what? That wealthy people abuse their position of power? Well your about 5 thousand years behind the curve
