I doubt it, a calf injury isn't going to be serious enough to warrant the FA allowing that, or teams throughout the leagues would be doing similar

if shecks is done, i guess it's hope donacien has enough to carry it off, mandy is the makeshift back up, after that we're into guesswork, i suppose naylor could "do a job" there if called upon, then there's jessop, whose minutes at MK dons were a difficult watch, is tanton still an option on a recall? i'm reaching here.

Thank goodness in Naylor, Mandeville and Duffy we've got 3 players who can cover the defensive positions if needed as the bench will be massively forward thinking (which is a good thing).

Whatever is needed will have to be done, but, as we saw demonstrated very clearly at Notts, we are a far more effective force with Naylor and Mandeville in more attacking roles.

Rather have a fully fit Sparkes..Shecks has been a bit hit and miss, Dochian looks good if he can keep fit...DJ lacks consistency. Duffy, Naylor,Manders all quality as someone has already said on here.

Sparkes is better offensively, Gordon better defensively. From what I've seen so far there's not much to choose between them.

A discussion with Cook about whether there is a formation that could accommodate them both would be very interesting. I personally think Lewis can play left midfield.

If we played a formation with 4 across the middle maybe, but I can't see it the way Cook plays.

Surely it would be Sparks left midfield with his delivery, let’s not forget our natural left sided in Duffy either.

Yep, that little Duffy shimmy that created the space for him to cross to create the winner at Notts was pure spontaneous class. A lesser player would have been too nervous to dwell on the ball given the pressure.
