Rob Elliot gone at Crawley hardly been there

I’d no idea he was there in the first place, shows the amount of managerial dismissals and hirings this season.

It was all a case of the managerial roundabout going full circle. Carlisle sacked paul simpson so went after mike williamson at mkdons. Mk dons then went for the crawley manager so crawley poached rob elliot from gateshead and gateshead went for ex player and mikes coach at carlisle carl magnay. The curse of ex gateshead managers continue

It must be Gateshead’s excellent stadium which was getting those managers results.

Dunfermline have just sacked a manager after two months and eleven matches.
These go to eleven.

I get your sarcasm but probably more a case of the board giving the managers time

Football manager sackings are getting worse. Paul Cook hates how it works and who can blame him, its a terrible trend. Clubs make very rash decisions when setting on managers like we did after PC left.

I remember meeting an ex-pro the night we appointed Sa**ders and saying that I thought he would be a disaster.
These go to eleven.

Probably realises keeping them in L1 too big a task.

If we don't go up, a convenient away game next season.

Even so Gillingham are currently 19th in League 2 so they will both be in the same division next season. Presume he's had a decent offer to jump ship and been offered assurances of spending etc for next season.

Convenient...if you consider a 2hr journey convenient! Its hardly local!

It’s convenient if you live in Leek.

Yeah thinking for next season, I think Ainsworth is a good manager and with some financial backing they could well be a contender next year
