2,289 (613 Blues fans) 1676 home fans...

How can they afford decent players with only 1676 fans ?

Probably a bit early i would have thought. Webb said post match it looked like he twisted it when he caught his studs in the turf while sliding in. Doubt we'll hear any more until possibly the weekends pre match press conference but no guarantee it will be mentioned and it will just be a case of seeing if he plays. That said Gordon is back which helps somewhat.

Gordon is more than an able alternative.we looked more solid with Donacien too

Decent well supported clubs like Torquay, Southend, Darlington, Hereford fester in lower leagues whilst failed vanity projects like these occupy a league space 🤦🏻

Darlington and Hereford went bust so had to start again from the bottom. Both Torquay and Southend were mismanaged into their position as we were, they’re where they deserve to be, as we were!

Sparkes is an excellent crosser of the ball but Gordon looks to be the better all round player.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Playing devils advocate, and I say this with Mandeville being a firm favourite of mine, but Mandy should have scored early doors at 0-0 and wasn’t it Mercalfe that gave the ball away which led to one of their two big chances before the sending off.

If their lad had scored, which he probably should have done twice ( I think same player ) we could have gone in 2-0 down and Mandy’s miss and Metclafe’s error would have been huge talking points.

All if’s and but’s but shows how fine margins are in the game.

Over the moon for Mandeville though. Fantastic servant of the club and IMO a huge player for us.

I said the same about Metcalfe. He improved as the game went on but a few errant headers and passes early on put us under pressure.

So, Bournemouth don't deserve their time in the Prem.?

American billionaire Bill Foley and his investment group, Black Knight Football Club, bankroll AFC Bournemouth. Foley also owns the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights.
Explanation
Foley bought Bournemouth in 2023 for £100 million, plus an additional £20 million after the club stayed in the Premier League.
Black Knight Football Club UK Limited owns AFC Bournemouth Limited, which is the company that owns the football club. Russian Businessman Max Demin became co-owner of the club with a 50% investment in 2011, when Bournemouth were in League One.

Former chairman Eddie Mitchell then sold his stake in the club to Demin in 2013. What Max Demin's actual business is, or was, is a bit "hazy"

You have a hold point there tbf. However, the point made was about clubs deserving to be at the level of their attendances.

Fully appreciate your points, just that when reading it comes across as though the club and fans deserved it,when we know it is the owners that are the ones that deserve it.Our club is an example of how important a club is to the community (when properly managed as we now are) and not just to football fans.
Cannot put in to words the way I felt when we were looking odds on for NLN.

Gary Neville and Roy Keane watched the game and briefly discuss it in the opening minutes of the overlap

Have Salford appealed the obvious mistake for the red card yet? 🥴

Probably struggling to find anything to back up their claim seeing as the incident was missed by the cameras unless its on some other footage yet to be released.

Didn't Robinson say that their camera(s) would cover the angle? Perhaps they did, resulting in silence

They could call me has a witness and lose  or maybe ask Fleetwood to cobble some footage together on their behalf.

Was it a mistake ? Rumour has it that Sparkes accidentally trod on Adelakun's toe and he reacted by kicking the back of Sparkes calf. So it's a red.

Keane sent a bit of praise our way in the brief chat about it, commented on how we did a good job of playing against 10 men which doesnt always happen in the lower divisions.
