Playoffs would need a run of some brilliance from now pretty much winning every game so its a long shot. I'm working on the basis of have a good finish, get some of the momentum back to go into the summer with some optimism.

we can now be one of those irritating mid table sides who mess up other people's chances, let's just enjoy the rest of the season and see where it takes us.

It's not the hope that'll do for me: it's the lack of hope. I don't see the fat lady yet 🥰

Correct, it's not over till it's over. Let's see some Agincourt spirit, although without Dan Archer things maybe a tad more difficult lol.

It?s unlikely we?re gonna go on a run to win enough games now isn?t it

But - slim glimmer of hope. Fleck actually managed to stay fit and play in games. The quality isn?t in question. The fitness is. If he can play each game now and contribute it?s a massive boost.

Grigg back soon. If he manages to play each game and stay fit its a huge boost

Macfazdean can come back and play some games

It would be like when we signed Robinson. Or was it Dutch? and was it lormer under Johnny no goals and hit the accelerator and ended up beating bury at

Or has my memory got signings confused?

But even if I?ve got the signings wrong these guys it back fully fit at the same time might have the same impact

Robinson scored on his home debut against Doncaster with a diving header and the rest as they say is history

We were 7th before that game, within another 5 games we were 2nd, staying 2nd or 3rd for the rest of the season (about 18 games)
Nothing like the miracle we would need this season.

We really don't want to making the playoffs, or getting promoted this season, we don't want to triggering contract extensions in players that are bareiy good enough for league 2, we would be cannon fodder in league 1 with this squad

It?s very disappointing not have a chance of the playoffs with a quarter of the reason remaining

Yeah, but it's great that we don't have to look at the relegation places either.

We do have a chance tho. It?s unlikely I must admit but you never know. Although I?m not that confident for tonight , not due to our form or owt but the last time I watched Salford their pitch was an absolute quagmire. Disgraceful for this level. If they?ve had the decent weather we?ve been having here it might?ve improved tho 🤷🏽‍♂️

Dunno, working in Liverpool today so it?s an easy one on the way home

Hopefully side isn?t changed to much, could probably switch the full backs, but leave the rest as it is but I can see Duffy coming in

Hopefully see Fleck get 30 mins

Can't remember if the contract extensions were connected with promotion or appearances or both. The only one that comes to mind is,I think,Coco on appearances.

Seriously? I’d take promotion at any cost if it means going up,

Great result, Colchester and Cheltenham also won so no change really

Have an each way punt on Colchester getting promotion while the price is still decent 8-1 at the minute
A new hope.

8 behind play offset, a game in hand. If we can keep the roll going then who knows...
