I did come to write a big old post but I haven?t got it in me. We?ve gone from riding the crest of a wave to a drought. Feel incredibly dejected after that.

How have they gone 10 unbeaten... they're shyyte, and yet we can't string 3 unbeaten..

I?ve got to say, they are one of the poorest teams I?ve seen, they offered virtually nothing, exactly the same as Swindon.

BS.
Cook is the man. Nobody could have done better with all the injuries, and nobody will do better. I am grateful he?s here.
These go to eleven.

Honestly what the f**k was that. We looked better over Christmas with a patchwork team and Drummond up top than we do now.

Mandy on the left is one of the strangest decisions I?ve ever seen. It smacks of desperation rather than having a clear solution for how to get us going again.

What's our record in league games this season with Markanday starting v not? That might be an eye opener.

I?ve flicked through this thread briefly and seen the usual suspects enjoying/revelling/claiming some sort of football genius insight about things and can?t be bothered reading it all.

End of the day the season was derailed before Xmas with the injuries that had followed the ridiculous run of decisions against us that cost us points and were so bad they couldn?t hide them and sent us apology after apology about them.

Since Xmas we?ve been chasing things trying to get a team gelled which is never easy and why teams that have to do it rarely do well. We all know that with a better run of things most of those starting tonight wouldn?t be near the starting XI.

I highly doubt we?ll get pulled into anything like a relegation battle as we?re 13 clear, 14 with the goal difference comparison and the bottom two currently have 33 or 36 to play for and neither look like stringing a run together that would close that gap let alone the teams in between of which a few are on worse runs than us.

It?s a shame that this season is fizzling out as it is doing but I think any level headed person knows the situation.

How the hell are we losing to teams like Colchester!! Too many changes week to week and there appears to me no urgency amongst the players. The only one giving it their all is Dobs.

Bromley now won five out of the last six and just 4 points off a play off place.

The simple truth is we're left with a central defensive partnership second or even third choice last season.

And much as we'll always remember Grimes' contribution to promotion, it's sad to say he's now giving away goals every game.

What choice does the Manager have, though? What are his options? Donacian? Naylor?

Losing Dunkley then Fadz then Williams has screwed us...
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

It certainly does. It's very messy, stupid selections, getting the basics wrong. It truly baffles me; it's embarrassing. How can that backroom lot of ex professionals, who've played at the highest level, make such poor decisions that lads from an under 13s team wouldn't make.

Webb was probably mic'd up to Cook taking instructions.

It's all just incredibly frustrating atm
Here we go again!

Some right wet wipe reactions here. Consolidation was always the aim this season and we have managed it despite more injuries than I?ve had hot dinners. Top work by all to make that happen but it?s obviously taken its toll. No big deal, we move onwards and upwards next season.

Fadz was absolute quality in the little time we saw him play
He even made Grimes look a better player
We have however since he got injured had a national league defence

Not according to DW, it wasn't. Promotion was the target, as favourites. That's fact checked, btw..
