How long has it been a rule that if you are shielding the ball and your opponent touches you, you can flop down and be awarded a free kick?

That's one of the biggest things that needs stamping out in football. It's absolutely pathetic.

We're a side lacking motivation, purpose and confidence.

A collection of players knowing they won't, on most cases, be at the Club next season.

Nothing to play for but playing itself.

All we can hope is a poxed-up win to break the malaise...

Can?t get my head round Mandy on the left. Well I suppose I do if we?re trying to be as solid as possible but it?s just? unsightly.

Football seems to be getting worse game by game. Sad to see Naylors decline, almost forgot he was on the pitch. Players seem to have it ingrained in them as soon we are in opponents half on attack, to pivot back round, slow the attack and pass back to our defence asap so they can ping it out of play and to let opposition get back in numbers. Nobody helping wingers out like they usually do hence we?re getting less crosses in the box. It?s so poor

The last few games, especially away performances, remind me of the season under Dave Rushbury, minus the lucky goals and wins we accumulated along the way. Very uncomfortable times.

In Naylor's defence (no pun) he's having to shield players second or third choice last season.

And as said we're in a negative mindset as a side.

One bright point is Duffy - signed a talent, there...

This pitch is shocking

We look uncertain and unsteady on our feet. Lacking confidence and not wanting to get injured.

Hard watch.

Dreadful half of football. We have literally 0 attacking threat out there. This season is in serious danger of just drifting into absolute nothingness.

Got to get some of our flair players onto this pitch asap to kickstart us into action. Hobson isn?t good enough I?m afraid, and Mandeville left wing is just a complete waste. Dobra & Colclough/Olakigbe on asap please Cook.

I think we have completely lost our way and when I say we, I mean PC.

Get back to what worked last season and the first third of this one. He can't do anything about the defence, that is beyond his control but the rest of the team?

Hate to burst your bubble but it already is in absolute nothingness. There?s zero chance we make the play offs. Even with an improvement, we?re just too far out

Looking at the table we will be 18th/19th/20th soon if results dont pick up. We are now below sides that were bookies favourites for the drop into the National League.

Agree with comment. Most of these players, some of them fantastic servants of the club, won?t be here next year. Let?s get to 50 points and go again.

As for tonight, really poor. Very little quality. Can see why we have kept so few clean sheets. No pace in the side especially down the middle. It?s all lethargic, slow paced and just downright bang average.

Definite rebuild and re think required in the summer. The wheels haven?t just fell off they?ve totally buckled and disintegrated. My concern is, that given the way we look at the moment, next year could be another bridge build season, and the push for division 1 is still at least a season away. Of course I?m more than happy we?re back in the EFL, but this is turning sour on the pitch really quickly. Level heads and calm thoughts.

I'd like to see Colclough come on and link up with Sparkes. Might as well, as it can't get any worse. Plus, Dobra for Hobson.

There doesn?t seem to be any real plan or identity, why play a left winger on the right and Mandy on the left, it makes no sense whatsoever, we?ve hardly been able to retain the ball. We looked much better when we were down to the bare bones, at least we tried to play football.

TBH I'd be happy with that and let Mr C wave his magic over a complete makeover - when you remove all the players we had, we have to expect a straining of consolidation and that's what's kind of happening.
