i know what you mean, however, i seem to recall in sheridan's disaster season, we'd gone on a long long long winless run and that run ended away at colchester. also it's about this time last year i went to watch us in the cfc lounge away at barnet, if we can play like we did that night i.e. be hard to beat and take our chances, that'd do nicely, oh for an available will grigg.

Yes. Have to say though, whereas every away game this season I've expected to get something, for the first time, I've none. We always seem to play them away on a cold, winter, mid week evening and it's alway miserable. Can't image what the line up will be. Sure to be an interesting evening but as I've said before, I will be happy to get to 50 points. Who'd have thought it after the elation at Crewe at half time.

Sorry, I meant our ground as it's being shown in the lounge. You never know, we might play well and win the game but I certainly won't be putting any money on that outcome!

Safe to say that the pitch will not be a bonus.

Wish one of ours would get onto the 25 crosses he knocks in!

I know cookie always talks of trying to win games, but for me were in desperate need of a clean sheet to give us the chance to get something from the game and build some confidence in the latest incarnation of the back 4.
Boring 0-0 would suit me right now.

Only time I?ve seen Colchester is when we have played them.
The assessment is what the youth coach and parent of a 1st year scholar have said about them

Can't say I agree with any of that.
