I agree, he shouldn?t be sacked but I do feel that some level of criticism and
scrutiny should be applied and it feels that just won?t be tolerated by a large basis of the fan base, the club and certainly not by Cook himself

It feels as though Cook shouldn?t be spoken about in anything but glowing terms in case he walks

The 2nd stint has been ok but by no means sensational

The problem with criticism is that the balance has to be correct. All the best organisations have successful feedback mechanisms as you rightly say. But they also foster enormously positive environments and cultures to drive the success.

So moaning too much has the potential to undermine the positive culture, which is, I suppose, my counter-argument to those labelling the attempt to create a positive culture as 'happy clapping'

With all due respect, you're posting stuff to get a reaction. If that wasn't the case, you would be able to support your opinion with facts.

I asked you here (https://www.thecfss....dpost&p=1876676) what criteria and benchmark you applied to support your score of 6.25. Again here (https://www.thecfss....dpost&p=1877611) and again here (https://www.thecfss....dpost&p=1877645)

It really shouldn't be that difficult to support your opinion with facts, providing of course they reconcile!

There you have it, we sit in the bottom half of the table with 2 wins in 11, I score the season as a 4.5 out of 10

And that makes me Anti Cook and an absolute cock👍😂

We?re 16 points above relegation after 6 years in non league so yeah. Your biased rating (and just about everything else you post) makes you a cock. Is that hard to understand?

Management techniques suggest good management would give positive x3 to the individual then a criticism. People always repond to criticism if they've been given some positives - simple human nature. I remember receiving boudless negatives in a job many years ago an d ex[ected to walk out with a smile on my face and be positive - doesn't work. Focussing on negatives is a form of bullying tactic that is still prevailent in some organisations.
As for Cook - he's had plenty of positives but I think most of the negatives are out of his control - injuries, failed medicals, loan recalls, **** refereeing etc...
I think some of the 'negatives' are more subjective niggles. Oh to be a fly on the wall!

Come on then, give me your score this season, you giving an 8?

Imagine we’d won 4 out of the last 11, you’d have to give a 12

After all 16 points above relegation so it?s gotta be a good score

Sounds like a solid 9?

When I was young, my mother told me (can't remember when, maybe on the Friday market opposite the pump by Ibbotsons fruit and veg stall, maybe during the miners' strike).

"Stephen, patience is a virtue".

The same rings true here, today. It will all come good.

Thinking on, is there a team in the history of football who have suffered the number of injuries we have this season that have gone on to accomplish their goals? Any examples?

Come on, stop making excuses, I?d definitely agree that over Christmas and New Year with Drummond, Hobson and Akinola starting we were on a hiding to nothing but since then?

It wasn?t injuries that put Metcalfe and Olikigbe ahead of Banks and Duffy at the weekend

No. If you include sold or recalled etc then the team is a new one made up of reserve players, loans. Most folk tend to ignore injuries as a mitigating thing but I think it's clear and present with us. Have to say the bizarre refereeing decisions have played a major part - but don't all fans say this?

My only questions are some of the loan signings - too many kids. John Duncan and others - Nicky Law -  used to get more experienced players in on loan who were steady. When was the last time we got a good, experienced player from the league? 'George Margerita' 2014/5?

I know all football fans think their team is always hard done by with the officials decisions,BUT,anyone with the smallest knowledge of the rules would be hard pressed to not see the amount of points this years decisions may have/have cost us.
