Not if Fadz is fit first, as only one spot left isnt there?
Or will there be a special dispensation for Tyrones replacement?

We are talking about McFadzean.

Why would we get special dispensation? Regardless of the seriousness, TW is injured. Squad rules are squad rules.

Palmer? I'd like special dispensation to get a centre half in. I think we just have to be reflective and patient. I felt no emotion at the end of the game....whatsoever.

Tbh I thought Palmer did ok but I agree with the sentiments of no feelings after the game. Sadly after what could have been it?s petering out into very much a MEH, season, but at least it?s meh v Crewe, Doncaster, Port Vale etc and not meh v Ebbsfleet or Boston.

for all his faults, i can see why he would attract attention. he is tidy, rarely gives the ball away, wins a fair few free kicks, can score a few direct free kicks. The issue with oldaker is the pace which he plays which could and should be something easily sorted on the training pitch by the coaching staff.

The issue with Oldaker is his defensive work. Everything you mention is secondary and he can turn it on as well as anybody in L1 on a good day.

Or by playing 2 midfielders alongside him who can get about the pitch better. Oldaker will be one of a few that will have no problem picking up a 2 year contract elsewhere in L2 next year I think.

Oldaker with a player like Morsy next to him would be a real asset.

I'd like to take issue with this.

But he can?t. There are excellent midfielders in league 1 who are miles better than DJ. He is a decent L2 midfielder at best.
That said, I wish the management would give him the licence to push forward a bit and stop collecting the ball 5 yards from the CB.

He needs to collect the ball as neither of our current centre backs have got a pass in them.

i think he doesnt give it away very often (which could be a criticism because his passes tend to be recycling it out to the full backs as opposed to high risk): his job is clearly to keep it simple and short and not hollywood style. again this is coaching, not him. You rarely see cook going mental at him for not moving it quickly enough.

I'd rather see Grimes hit a long cross field pass than a 5 yard pass - he occasionally hits a good one as opposed to having you on the edge of your seat when passing it short.

His long cross field passes are invariably more likely to find you in your seat than one of his teammates.
