I would never deny that he lifted us from the depths of despair but as time went on and particularly towards the end he became uncomfortable to listen to and his behavior, apart from the alleged sexual assault, wasn't becoming of a professional football manager in my opinion. We all heard his rant and threat to bite someones 'kin nose off, that was just embarrassing, I was ready for him to leave at that point.

He just didn't fit into the image of our club, just like Steve Evans wouldn't. I don't think we owe him the clubs existence as you obviously do and whilst found not guilty of sexual assault, he did put himself in that position which had a devastating effect on his family. I don't care if he gets back into football or not but if he does, I wouldn't want him near our club.

Should he seek compo from us? I'm not sure he would get anywhere with it. I'd hope not as I think the club had absolutely no choice but to let him go. We are a community club

As mentioned the club suspended him due to the allegations which i suspect they had every right to do, the fact he then walked from the job whilst under suspension means his case for unfair dismissal etc is on thin ice.

He may have been a half decent tactical manager but was poor at managing people with his attitude, look at him the wrong way or give an opinion he didn't like and you're out. Not a nice person , arrogant and objectionable and not the sort we need at our club.

Said took over Gloucester and first 25 games averaging 2.5ppg, scoring stacks of goals

Came to Town and totally transformed the culture, regional football to play offs again over 2 points per game

Next season top of the league with 2 defeats in 27

Absolutely unprecedented unless anyone can tell me otherwise

Yes, demanding, ruthless but definitely what we needed

God knows where we?d be today if it wasn?t for James Rowe

We had a losers mentality, it needed changing

Is it because deep down everyone knows he saved the club but can?t bring themselves to say it?

This again? No one had a problem with the results Rowe got, it was how he conducted himself that was the problem & he has no one to blame but himself for the position he found himself in. Players, staff & members of the public either witnessed or were victims of his appalling behaviour so your one man crusade of idiocy to deify this reprobate really is a pointless endevour.

Correct

I don't recall one instance of a supporter being threatened with having their nose bitten off since JR was sent home to tend his lawns.

I think it was, with his style of management, a high stakes game.
With signings every two minutes due to lack of form or falling outs with players, he would have eventually got to the well running dry - and then would have had a massive strop and left, or we would started to come apart as he would have dropped more players, fell out with others and ended up with the squad members leaving in transfer window or just basically not playing for him.
I think he was a flash in the pan manager and a grotesque character according to other accounts. Short term gain,(would have been imo) long term pain
Well rid of him.

He left the day or day after he was charged and i think it came out that he had intimated to Fylde who claimed to have done due diligence that he wouldnt be charged.

Great interview, hopefully back in football very shortly
I think most on here are aware of your obsession with Rowe,to which you seem to be in a minority of one.
However he's gone and as not been employed any were else which speaks volumes.
He damaged our clubs reputation his own reputation and caused his family considerable upset.
Yet you continue your bizarre admiration for him, Either you enjoy fishing of you need to have a long hard look at your views.

Why don't you replicate the courage of the woman who reported Rowe's ugly behaviour and tell us exactly what point you're trying to make?

That he shouldn't have been sacked? She should've been ignored?

Or is it that the club you so revealingly dubbed "Woke FC" should remove it's most successful manager and now re-employ him?

Please, be specific instead of these pathetic little taunts...

The well had run dry, and then some, hence the Kirk?s coming on board. Financially he should have been told no much sooner

As I understand it, the "gross misconduct" charge that led to his resignation was not related to any allegation of sexual misconduct.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Rowe didn't though, did he. If he was so sure of himself, there are various ways he could have fought his corner, but he resigned instead. For a man to put his family through the trauma of such a court case speaks volumes about the man. He shouldn't have put himself in that position, end of.

No great revelations. I wouldn't bother listening.

Still has 'a lot of love' for Chesterfield FC and has close friends who are season ticket holders.

Didn't mention if they were Bob's Board posters.

You won't find 12 jurors in a wrongful employment case though.

Correct, and I don't think you'd find a certain ex manager as a winner either.
