Don?t bother with him. He thinks way too much of himself. The man?s clearly got some sort of issue with the club and cook. Not a genuine poster. Summet not quite right with his posts. Disgruntled ex employee of some sort I reckon.

His username suggests he wants to drown the place in ejaculate.

Sparkes will become even better once Griggs back , how many good balls does he whip across without us having that poacher making the move. So many just flash across the face of goal.

I didn't count, but his crosses into the box must have been close to double figures - nobody in there to finish. A fit Grigg and somebody who can head a football needed for next season. Sparkes would be an asset if we can get him.

thats the point of a season, its not a 6 game burst, its how you do over 46, 23 home, 23 away, it's been dissapointing of late but come on we have had a hideous injury situation to deal with which has affected any momentun, today we arguably started with our 3rd choice CB pairing, we have our best striker out, lost our best player to a loan recall, it's just been a stop start season, last season everything went for us and thank god it did because we had to get out of that league and we did, this season has been a challenge and we'll end it still a football league club with the chance to have a shot at promotion next season.

We just aren?t as good as we thought we were. Add injuries into the mix and our league position isn?t that surprising. As others have said, a major clear out in the summer will happen and we will challenge next year. Recruitment simply has to be better - no more ?old but gold? signings please - they haven?t paid off and our injury treatment room gets bigger by the week. Mid table finish and go again. Dissapointing season to say the least.

We have flattered to deceive. But for me consolidation was always the aim with anything else a bonus. We have too many passengers, dead wood, and players not good enough for this level. I have faith in the management team to take stock, rebuild and go again next season.

Yep, basically. You cant have an amazing season every season and I think some people need to realise this. You also can?t have an amazing season when you?re blighted by injuries. Look at Arsenal this season who haven?t had anything close to our injury list but who?ve been rendered utterly toothless as a result, playing a CM up top in the last 3 matches.

Anyone suggesting Cook shouldn?t be here, well, I?d support hoiking up a greenie and gozzing it in their general direction, such is my sheer disdain for their football knowledge.

Apart from your second paragraph, which is gross 🤢 I agree. However, folk have a right to express their opinion, even if it's wrong or you don't agree with them; insulting and abusing them (not saying you are, our Josh); especially, over football, doesn't sit right with me. Cook is a nice bloke and a good manager, and he loves Town....but, he does make some decisions that afford some scrutiny.

Anyway, Stockport required two bites of the cherry to go up, and Notts finished 14th in their first season back in league two; they're doing ok this year, but they aren't consistent. We don't have a right to be in the top 7, but I'd expect us to be in the mix. But, when you start with (there could have been a good reason for this) Oldaker and Metcalfe as your central pairing, you know you are in trouble before you kick a ball.

Madden is invisible and I've no idea what he's bringing to the table. Sparkes is excellent and I'd love him on a permanent deal. Yesterday, he pretty much ran the whole of the left side by himself. As already pointed out, he's the man making the runs and putting the ball in the mix; ideal for Grigg.

Grimes was at fault for two of their goals. Our priority has to be two CBs; I'm sure we're already looking at options.

Cook knew this at the start of the season I think with him basically starting with a brand new defence. By hook or by crook, we?ve ended up with the NL defence again and their limitations are there for all to see.

He is talking about George Cooper winger from Plymouth and currently playing in the west didsbury and Chorlton league as he ended up with a serious knee injury after 3 ops he couldn't play top level footy again

From the little I saw of him, I?d be tempted to see if we can get McFadz for another year

I?m hoping we sign Sparkes, very tidy player and likes to whip a cross into the box

He'd be even better with some help down the left with him, dobra goes inside all the time, leaving spares covering the entire side all alone, the lad must be knackered when the game ends..
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I was wondering how well he'd work with Colclough.

Jamie Grimes will always be a legend to me, the captain who brought us back into the football league, capping it off with two goals on that great day last March. But there is no sentiment in football, there comes a time when the journey is over

I'd prefer Duffy, Colclough isn't playing well at all, rarely completes 90 mins, and let's face it, offers very little in the way of goals/assists..

He seems like he's a lovely and genuine bloke but, there's a limit to everyone's ability.
