And to you, at least three of the houses on my street of 9 will be going through Ramadan for the next month so I wish you all well. Just glad I am not working and having to plan a team's work around Ramadan, its hard to send them away from home during that period as its hard to get hotels to serve as needed (although I know one chain that does ;))

Happy Endometriosis Awareness Day everyone.

Now Tim, as you should know, March is endometriosis awareness month, not just March 1st being awareness day.
March 1st is also Beer day in Iceland which celebrates the end of 74 years of prohibition in 1989. It is also National Pig day in the US
As for today, March 2, Happy Texas Independence Day to all Texan Spireites

Happy Adwa day today to all Spireites.

Adwa Victory Day is a national holiday in Ethiopia. It celebrates Ethiopia?s victory over Italy in 1896 which won them victory and independence in the town of Adwa. People pay tribute to their ancestors by coming out on the streets, having parades, and telling old tales. This day is an important milestone as it stands for the celebration of Ethiopian sovereignty.

Tell an old tale to a friend and help spread love, peace and friendship of the Adwa.

Maybe some entrepreneurial chap should go out Islamabad and organise an annual beer festival. Surely they would welcome our cultures as we do theirs.

It's only positive if the information being promoted is accurate. Year after year huge inaccuracies are spotted. No surprise, as the myths are spouted by supposed 'specialists' around the globe.

It's the same with asking women to complete surveys to 'help us understand what needs to be the focus of improvements'. One of those every year or two. Zero change.

The only positive is that some poor sufferer might recognise their symptoms and finally get a diagnosis (after 8+ years). No positives after that mind.

Virtue signalling b*****ks and an earning opportunity for the endo charities.

I'll be honest, I didn't know what it is. It was just on a list of what day/month it is. Please don't think I was making light of it.

Don't worry, I didn't think you were. Just riles me seeing it come around again with nothing having changed.

One of my daughters best friends suffers, after taking about 8 years to be diagnosed... its a dreadful illness and can you imagine the mental challenge of knowing that having children is unlikely when its one of life's dreams..

Hopefully it will get the publicity and funding it deserves one day.
