That time of the week again.

My wild stab at the team;

Boot

Donacien
Naylor
Grimes
Sparkes

Oldaker
Metcalfe

Olakigbe
Dobra
Duffy

Pepple

Subs; Thompson, Mandeville, Madden, Drummond, Banks, Sheckleford, Fleck

The big decision is in the middle. Could play Banks, but suspect not.

Surprised to see they've not sold out the away end (down to the last few though).

I think its time to burrow the hatchet with Banks he needs to play for me. Oldaker has been off the mark recently.

Rumours were going around that Grigg may be fit enough to make the bench on Saturday

I had a feeling he was likely to be getting close. We also missed Oldaker last week but then again we were awful front and to back even allowing for the trauma of seeing poor Tyrone poleaxed.

Could it be an omen, we've got the same ref who reffed our 5-0 victory at Crewe.

Definately the team I'd go for but I wouldn't be completely surprised to see Thompson back. Wonder if Boot will be in the right state of mind after last week.

I'd not considered that. Certainly it's not ideal to go making a change again.

these will be right up for it as there hanging on to the last playoff spot with autos still very much a possibility but I think if we turn up and show our quality we can blow these away, question is if we do turn up...

For me, and I'm sure he is now fit, Palmer has to come back in instead of Naylor in defence

I know Naylor has seemed a little off it but Palmer worries me, especially alongside JG.

Thought he was looking quite good up until his injury.
Naylor looks knackered (and was on the bench up until Ty being injured).
Naylor looks very vulnerable at the back. Palmer is a beast in comparison.
Call me old school but I'd have a defender in defence rather than a knackered midfielder

I hadn?t considered it as an option. He may do that.

Palmer has a mistake in him,as do all our defence (and not just the defence),but I agree with the defender in a defenders position absolutely.Injuries aside,it has been very perplexing at times regarding the back four.

If palmer comes back in then isn't mcfadzean done for the season? Sure he didn't make the origional 22

Palmer is in the update squad list submitted in February. I think MacFadzean was injured before it had to be submitted and is currently not listed

One space left after Drummond got pulled in.

I guess they'll wait filling that until the next hole in the squad opens up...

To me it is between Hobson, Campbell and McFadzean - can't think of many others

Palmer is ok, but, as others have said, he does have a mistake in him, and it's usually the ball over the top which he allows to drop over his shoulder. Apart from that, he's usually a decent centre back. Not many beat him in the air, but he makes Jamie Grimes look like Linford Christie in a foot race.
He has to be, at the very least, on the bench. I trust him more than Tom Naylor at the back, who I think needs a bit of a rest.

I think we all need a win tomorrow in order to lift the tension a little. I thought Cookie looked a bit drawn and tired, which is not surprising since the events of last Saturday. It's right that Ty's family should make some annoucement in the future but it does suggest its not a normal football injury. I sincerely hope his football career is still on track.

The injuries throughout the season will have built up on both the management and also those who were lucky enough to stay fit. This latest injury to Tyrone Williams is just on another level though.
You're right, it has to be a statement from Tyrone and his family, if and when he's ready. All I hope is that he's going to be ok and he's seen representing our football club once again.
