You gush over Cook, everyone does

Not a controversial thing to say is it?

We do. Mainly because he's been superb for our football club and he's a likeable guy.

We are currently in a fortunate position, both with the Kirks and Paul Cook. I don't recall a better time to support our club, whereas you obviously do. Which spell do you prefer?

Think you will have difficulty finding a post from me 'gushing' over PC.Now appreciating what he has done for us,rather than what your hero was doing for himself,it would be selfish not to highlight.

Well hopefully your hero will soon get a gig at an outfit reflecting his and your standards.

At which point you can go and gush over them, leaving the rest of us to enjoy the progress of a club possessing far higher ones...

I?d love to see JR back in the game, the loss of your career for no reason must be devastating

Secondly there?s nothing in this thread from me that is anti Cook, I?m just offering my opinion on his 2nd stint, 6.25/10

I?m allowed to be disappointed about this season, I didn?t expect us to be below Bromley, I?d say that is below expectations and I guess so would the Kirks

If the Kirks look at things in a vacuum then sure, I imagine they?d want to be above Bromley but things don?t happen in a vacuum. How many injuries have Bromley suffered, for instance?

I'm disappointed we are in the same league as Bromley
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Never the twain shall meet.

That play off final last year was like choosing between a slap in the chops or a kick in the bowlocks.

Yeah not quite sure......they have some decent players. Id be personally more upset if we finished below the likes of Morecambe and Harrogate etc.

Possibly but they would probably also take into account

1) unprecedented number of injuries suffered
2) signings having to be made due to injuries suffered
3) squad having to take time to gel given new signings
4) shocking refereeing decisions against us throughout the season but especially during the first few months

Also think you calling Dunkley is an expensive mistake is harsh. Whilst I would've preferred a 2 year deal over a 3 year deal, we couldn't account for the freak neck injury. Technically I suppose you're right, but that's nobody's fault if you're talking about him being injured. You also have no idea whether Fleck is an expensive mistake.

True and perhaps I am being a bit harsh. But I?ve not doubt that the aim this season will have been promotion and with the signings made no doubt significant financial investment was made. It?s clear to see that injuries have plagued us but the number of calf injuries and hamstring issues etc must be a concern. Fleck you?d hope is on some sort of appearance bonus type deal - as he certainly won?t have come cheap.

Treatment of away fans. Sh*thouse tactics.

At a guess.

Same as Solihull.

You realise tactics aren?t from the club they are from the coach at that particular time.
That?s like hating Town for the way Paul Hart set us up.

I didn?t say we have, I said I didn?t expect us to be below Bromley

Nor did I expect us to be 25 points off the top and 16 points off the bottom

People can like/dislike for any reason they choose. I don't think anyone thinks the board of directors encourage sh*thouse tactics, but they're part of it if they employ those who do.

I guess.
Fans are bonkers.
We as a club are hated by many fans of other clubs still for the criminality of Brown and the lies of Carson.
And they are thankfully long gone

I still dislike Cambridge and Dion Dublin because of the 1990 Play Off final and I make no apologies for it

I despise Brighton with a passion. No time for these ratbags at all. It galls me to see them doing so well in the Premier League.

Personally think Bromley have had a cracking season. If they had the players and funds we have they would be easily in the top 5.
