So you don?t know much about our training methods at all then and are just second guessing on what others do. Helpful, not as always.

What a weird take son.

Yes I don?t don?t know the ins and outs of what goes on at the Toen training ground at the moment. I have no business or need or want to know (like everyone else).

Not sure what your point is.

Is it a possibility then that one or more of the coaches may have reached his 'level'?

Difficult to say. I'm not saying I know what's gone on, I'm just questioning it because, it doesn't look right.

Both me and CPS have studied Sports Science; he went one way, I went the other, but we both have a good understanding of S and C, CPS a lot more than me. We've both worked (and, I believe he still is) at elite level. His previous response is a decent summation.

Thought I'd read somewhere that the owners at MK are already getting fed up, because the town isn't getting behind the team and thus won't be investing heavily?

Really? Interesting....and good news for us.

If, as it seems, we're destined to spend another season in Div, I'd be more than a little confident about our chances next year. I've watched us plenty of times this season and in most instances we've been masters of our own downfall. No teams have looked remotely special. OK, Walsall at our place looked decent as did Notts and Wimbledon but Walsall looked bang average when they beat us at their place. Port Vale are just physical, Bradford were very lucky to beat us at Valley Parade. Donny were tonked by us home and away and amongst the other challengers Crewe are yet to face us at home but away.....! Looking at the bottom of Div 1 and top of the National League, I can't see any of those teams presenting us with a stern test. All that said, we are the mighty Spireites and we've shown this season we're pretty good at shooting ourselves in the foot!

i'm perhaps a little biased here but watch a fair amount of football and been to a number of games as a neutral over recent seasons and have to say there's not that much that i'd call special out there, so much football seems over tactical and an emphasis on not losing as opposed to winning, there are certainly levels but in terms of seeing teams and thinking "wow these are good" not so much. remember last season watching us against watford, ok i know its a one off but we played the better football, i think we are fortunate that we have a manager who whilst he likes structure, still allows players to play with a freedom and will always go into games with the desire to win.

Is not this thread a little before it’s time?

After all, before the start of next season, most teams will have moved a number of players out and brought a number of players in. Their squads might not even resemble the squads they have this season. Additionally. It is likely there will have been a number of managerial changes, maybe even ownerships. Changes at the top can result in changes in style of play too.

So, Walsall were not a fancied team at the beginning of the season but just one outstanding loan signing for half a season has helped put them where they are today. Will there be another Walsall? We do not know. Just, like we do not know how good any other teams signings or injury misfortunes might be either.
