Rotherham's are undoubtedly a little over half of the declared attendance.

There was a midweek game here v Yeovil in the NL wasn't there when the actual attendees were under 2000?

I was at that Yeovil game, a senior steward reckoned less than 1400 fans had entered the ground that night, a figure massively disputed by crooked Carson and his motley crew of rogues.

The actual figure was published somewhere from a credible source, I remember seeing it. Think it was 1800 and something.

Judge for yourself.....

Reported attendance around 3200. If I remember correctly that was the night Gerrard got booked early, gave a penalty away, then committed a nasty looking challenge and the home crowd chanted OFF OFF OFF all within the first 20 minutes. The referee looked bemused.

December 2019, definitely the lowest the club has ever sunk

PS
Watched some of the Stoke game tonight for some reason and the visible stands were less than half full. Allegedly 20,000+ there

You'd certainly say fewer than 1 in 5 seats were occupied. Probably significantly fewer.

Watching the Yeovil highlights (class Weston goal aside) and remembering that season which could have easily seen us relegated to NLN, I do find it bizarre that some folk moan as much as they do now!

We were an appalling side and a club run into the dirt.

It is tickets sold. They sold around 6k season tickets, most of them appear to have given up and gone back to the City Ground.

Maybe they cant get tickets Forest games now Forest in PL?
I think there's a waiting list for season tickets at Forest.

For the first time in my life I questioned wether I would have a club, and if I could continue to support them in the NLN if I had.
Unfortunately at that time the answer would probably have been yes to the support.

I think I went to one game between relegation and the COVID lockdown (Sutton? Might have been free/cheap tickets in North Stand). My next game was the one with the reduced capacity and I don't think I've missed more than one league game (holiday) since.

Missed the Ebbsfleet game then. That last 10 minutes was crazy and made it one of the most memorable games in ages although we could have done without the final Ashmore incident.

Forever grateful to Nathan Tyson and his hatrick against Ebbsfleet which ultimately kept us on PPG and condemned the Essex side to relegation during the covid curtailed season.

You do look back and think what if? Just glad it?s all in the past now.

I reckon we would have been ok, there was a steady uptick in both results and performances after Sheridan left in January and Pemberton took over. What nearly did for us was the early curtailment of the season.

I was at Stoke last night with work and it was a depressing one. Ground empty, no atmosphere and a side heading down based on what I saw.

Not a chance 20k there, closer to 10k
