Looks like our scouting team are off to holland,belgium,and denmark to watch games and suss out possible signings,cant think of many foreign players who have pulled on the blue shirt,except paul holland he was dutch.!!!

Have we signed players directly from the continent though. Most of the foreign players we have signed seem to be waifs and strays that have rolled up on our doorstep. That of course may jest be a perception. The attempted signing from the Canadian league suggests we are trying to cast our net a bit wider.

Gnanduillet had the same agent (Full Contact i think they were called) as Raglan, Banks and i think Rai Simons (who can be added to the list) but not sure if him and Simons had trials or we signed them on the back of what we knew from the agency etc.

Bernardeau we got from Leeds, Misse-Misse came from Dundee United so neither direct from Continental sides.

Jimmy Juan we got from Grenoble, Alex Mendy came to us from FK Mlada Boleslav in Czechia via a trial with Leeds.

You joke. I went into WHSmith in Worksop to buy his autobiography. It wasn't on the shelf in sport or biographies, so I asked the staff if they had it. 'Yes, our computer says we have two in stock'.
They'd put it in the travel section.
