The great thing about Cook's 2nd stint,is that he has the Kirk brothers backing him to the hilt. Dave Allen dropped off his backing when we were pushing for the Championship. Bringing in Harrison which PCadmitted at a fans meeting at the Bridge wasn't his 1st choice to replace Doyle.if that happened now I am sure he would be given full backing to push us on.

I would argue it should be at least 8 out of 10. Managing is always easier when you are winning and the team picks its self. Its alot harder when things conspire against you and you have to find answers. Its been a tough season and Cooky has steered us through without the threat of relegation despite the setbacks.

"The football club means so much to the community. Now and again we need each other and we should always be there for each other when times aren?t so good. There will be dark days ahead, when those dark times come, make sure we stay together strong.?

Some signings work, some don?t, always been the case always will be, I think why folk are calling you out is because you?re quite clearly accusing him of signing them as some sort of financial favour to them because they?re his mates.
And I agree with them that sort of statement is ridiculous to me as well.

Even if Dave's assertion of an "old pals act" means only that Cook doesn't do enough scouting, then it has to be acknowledged that this is the same "old pals act" that brought us Jimmy Ryan, Gary Roberts (as a player,) Jeff King and Armando Dobra, as well as the Fulham loanees and Lewis Gordon via an "old pal" of a coach. So long as Cooky has plenty of old pals in the game, he can continue to pay attention to the recommendations of trusted contacts, for me.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Cooper was signed late June (or at least 1st July after his Plymouth deal had ended) so no wonder he?d not done any preseason by then

So is it no pre season or no games you are moaning about as you've just changed your tune on that one? You listed him in your he's had no preseason list a few posts above.

Mcfadzean had preseason, regular training and matches and he got injured.

Not convinced age is an issue with injuries, if you cited pace and a lack of stamina in games then that could be a credible argument but you need some older heads in a squad to provide stability when it gets tough

Well it seems we cant sign young players because they get injured as they arent ready and cant sign old players so they are passed it so we are supposed to be shopping in a very limited, and suspect far more expensive, age bracket for players.
