Gaz Davies scored the same day Steve Payne scored a free kick from what I remember. I wasn?t very old but have a vague memory of it. Robertsons was in the 3-1 game where Lester rounded Muggleton infront of the town fans a few years later

Likewise, never even made the game and ended up turning back eventually. Seem to remember listening to the radio that night and a previously unknown Robbie Fowler bursting onto the scene and scoring 3 or 4 against Fulham (I think?) as the Liverpool fans were in the same standing traffic as us.
