There's still time for them to allocate more. But given we only gave them 1000 I don't see them doing that. The difference being they could be we couldn't as we sold out! When was the last time County had 20000 there...

They've not had a complete sell-out for a while. Not sure the last time the whole of the Jimmy Sirrel stand was used in its entirety but it was a good while ago.

But not stated as a sellout on the club site, so we might get more ??

Some may become available as they come out of baskets if people don?t complete transactions within the time limit. I?ve just tried and it looked like they were still available.

The chances of that happening are only slightly above zero.

Reading this prompted me to have another look after no availability showed up online and as if by magic you were right and I managed to get one 👍

Its a bit silly on their part if this is a reason...cutting their nose off to spite their face really.

Their ground has a far bigger capacity than ours, so there is no option for us really given the growing number of home fans we have. If we didn't do what we do, we would be letting down our owns fans watching the team - we have no option but to give away fans the end of East Stand & accommodate ours for demand.

We know the next thing? fill in the corners LOL

They might have had a point if we had 1000 empty seats at our game. But we didn't, it was sold out.

Our allocation has got nothing to do with what we gave them.

As it stands around 2k is as much as they now allocate to away fans.

It?s happened all season and there?s obviously an on-going issue which has been suggested it?s a safety issue due to the very narrow concourse area and limiting the number of folk in there.

Do folk honestly think the Notts owners are really that bothered that our away section has now moved and we could only allocate them 1k or whatever it was? They wouldn?t give a toss and certainly wouldn?t be chucking away tens of thousands of pounds to prove a point.

They can give us 3300(could be a little more) if they wanted and that?s within the safety protocols regarding the narrow concourse. But they won?t give us that because they won?t want 3300 away fans getting behind their team, if they could get away with giving us less I?m sure they would. If teams (not just notts) aren?t biting their noses off to spite their faces then explain the play off allocations up and down the country at the end of last season?

MK Dons were the worst. Huge swathes of empty seats and not only did they put the away fans up in the corner, they split them into two blocks way apart to further dissipate any potential atmosphere. Then still lost 😂

One of the localish teams were moaning (PV or Grimsby) that they only got 1900 but Notts later allocated another 300 odd. So I suppose it isn?t beyond reason they might do the same.

My Notts ST holder mate says that will probs be it, and confirmed that the concourse is the reason. As previously stated, same all season (notwithstanding the few more reportedly given to PV). Makes sense really, been very crowded under there at HT last few visits, without the stand being anywhere near full. Poor design, no real option to expand the concourse area because of the pavement/road. Was better those few times 20-odd years ago when visitors were in the big stand behind the net.

The account of the concourse being the reason for limited allocations now, that I posted earlier, also came from a Notts season ticket holder. I can?t say it?s fact but it?s the reason he says away allocations ( for everyone, not just singling us out) are limited to around 2k.

It?s happened all season and will continue to be the case you?d imagine.

Not sure where folk are getting their information that their safety certificate allows 3300 and how they?d be privy to it but I suppose it makes for a better story to say Notts are needlessly screwing us and being petty.

It seems like lot of Notts fans seem to think they are/were entitled to more as they are a big club.
Also it seems they think we should only be allocated what they had here.
Strange lot are County fans,a mixture of needs and flask and blanket mob!

Port Vale were initially allocated 1905 and then an additional allocation of 309

https://www.port-val...on-notts-county

This second link states a reciprocal arrangement. Perhaps PV threatened to limit their allocation in the return fixture. They are clearly offering teams the minimum and the final allocation has to be negotiated. That would appear to substantiate some peoples suspicion.

Which equates to around 2.2k. I said 2k.

As I said, the days of 4k which was previously available, and even the quoted 3.3k that apparently complies with their safety certificate 🤷🏻have gone.

I said around 2k and it looks like it?s 2.2k, my mistake.
