What pleases me is that Armando, his family and those representing him have put a value on his continued development at our club.
When I heard that he had got a new agent, my first reaction was here we go again. Therefore it's pleasing to see that Dobs hasn't been hawked around every other football club just to get a transfer elsewhere.
In the Kirks, thankfully we have two brothers who not only think like fans but have the resources and foresight to get things done.
Call me old fashioned but things like this help to restore my faith in football.

Not having that last bit, no one makes money out of football other than agents, players and those with corrupt influences.
From the highest influences in the game nothing of note for fans is considered, it?s all about power, ego and influence.

I?d be surprised if more than a couple, if indeed any of our end of season out of contract players are offered anything for next season.
Maybe I read too much into it but his interview to me after the wallsal defeat suggested there?s players cool doesn?t feel he can trust to carry out his instructions consistently

Most notable, and in contrast to others in a similar situation, is Dobra's game actually improved following his change of agent.
Nor can we ignore the lad's relationship with the manager who nurtured him at Ipswich before bringing him here.
Cook, Dobra and a Kirk run Chesterfield FC are on an upward journey...

Pic on Facebook taken from the boardroom with Dobs, ash Kirk and two other blokes one of which, light coloured cardigan, I thought was Davies on first look. Having checked again I think it?s just someone with a passing resemblance for him!
