Their keeper was a complete .......... Not been to a league game away for years. Hre was an arrogant little kid who was ushered off by stewards after taking the ..... when someone threw a packet of crisps at him. Just a kid who will get lost in the mix over the years

He's on loan from Stoke and played in goal for England U20s v Germany U20s at our ground in November. I agree though at the end he was a proper k**b.

Their third goal if anyone is interested as to what people are talking about when it comes to Shecklefords lack of effort after losing the ball.

Second Ref was god awful but ultimately we?ve been undone by giving national league players minutes in league football. Draw a line under and we go again.

Yet it was the same team with the same national league players who walloped Donny 5-2 last week...

He looked lazy at times today, which is something I wouldn't have levelled at him before.

He?s not lazy. His legs have gone.

He?s carried a lot this season, played majority of games and is basically in need of a rest. Trouble is he?s got no equal.

Look at yourselves, I know it?s with hindsight but scapegoating does no one any favours. The elephant in the room is injuries, changing personnel and loss of key players at important times for weeks.

Unlucky ? I?d say so.

A rest? We?ve just had 9 days without a game!

The morning after. Watched the highlights and listened to cook again. Looking back, cook was spot on. We stopped playing second half and they came out clearly after a huge rollocking. Pepples miss was worse than I remember, he should have buried it. Felt their second should never have stood and the substitute ref had an awful 20 mins. Summed up by their keeper collecting a cross and then simply holding onto the ball for a minute.

As for the side, we have now lost 6 of last 8 away games. Sheck had an absolute stinker and Naylor looks awful. Been saying for last month he needs dropping and yesterday confirmed it. Let?s hang in to 10th and rebuild in summer.

Listening to Cook and his complaints about short passing and the need to get the ball up to Madden and get lads round him sounds very unlike Cookball.

Seems to be a common theme from his post match interviews this season.

It?s the plan B some people don?t think we have. It seems that Plan A of ball retention and passing is that well drilled into the players that they struggle to move away from it when needed.

You would think that our leaders on the pitch would be drawing players attention to the clock ticking down the seconds, There always one on display; what we don?t want is short, sideways free kicks which dont end with a ball into the box, corners that go back to our own keeper and no hurry to take a throw in.

I wasn't studying Cook closely, but he didn't seem to be doing anything from the side in terms of gesturing that would indicate he was wildly unhappy with the way they were doing things.

Playing devils advocate I suppose based on rumblings I?ve heard.. but don?t be surprised to see a few curveball teams sent out by Cook. We?ve too many players who have promotion contract extension clauses so going up would be a disaster. Mid table finish in our first season back & throw the kitchen sink at it next year with a fully rebuilt squad is the plan, allegedly.

Agreed, he's not been upto it all this season, he needs to sit in the holding roll, rather than knacker himself out trying to get up and down the pitch

I think yesterday showed Cook that his patience of craving consistency with players has reached a limit.
Some of the players that have been on the non league journey with us over the past few years have shown that they are unable to perform at a consistent performance at this level.
It shows with our quality players that perform more consistently than others.
I still have a blind faith we?ll get in the play offs (at a stretch)?.but regardor not?.after this season ends, there will be a pretty large turnover in players in & out of the door

Let?s just enjoy the rest of the season?regardless of frustration?as frustrating as it is

That goes against all the public noise made but I'm not going to get wildly disappointed. When I need a jolt of reality I look at the NL table/results and am immediately cheered up.

And Pepple will learn, that was a key moment in the game. 2-0 game over really.

That chance was a perfect Grigg connect>goal ?easy

Yeah at the game and being at the other end I didn?t realise just how good of a chance pepples was , he should have buried it. The defeat was made more disappointing because of how well we played first half , we made them look very ordinary but then we came out second half a different side , the ref was really sh?te but we looked so so poor for a 15 minute period where they got the 2 goals but after that I felt we started to play again. The less said about the 10 minutes added on the better. It was really bad. 😂

I see people are calling for Cooky to go over on Facebook, folk are thick.

And yet there are people who claim this is the home of CFC-based nonsense.
