Disagree, he said he was clearly struggling but we kept giving the ball to him. Not really calling him out personally more the whole team.

A couple of the replacement referee's decisions were dreadful (Pepple penalised for having his shirt pulled for example) but it doesn't excuse our complete lack of tempo, decision making and aggression in the second half. For 20 minutes in the first half we knocked it around beautifully and were comfortably on top.

I thought he was more frustrated by his team mates giving Sheckleford the ball all the time when he was being targeted. It was truly unbelievable how they ignored the other side

Although he blamed the rest of the team who kept putting him under pressure

This passing back malarkey needs to stop next season if we are serious out going up next season. Completely kills any sort of momentum and one of the many reasons for allowing Walsall to win a game that at half time they looked at loosing easily.

Walsall were well aware of how we pass backwards at the first sign of pressure and made hay by pressing us up top.

The lefthand side has always been stronger and it still is - a lot of that is down to Dobra favouring the left side

The triangle of Sheckleford, Williams and Naylor terrifies me at times.

Our way of play is one thing but 10 mins added and passing about the back is criminal.

Naylor could also do with a break I think?

Very disappointing 2nd half after a very comfortable 1st half, subs didn't help today, still not sure about metcalfe, just not seen anything to convince me he's better than akinola,

Be nice if Gillingham could score v Crewe, we'd be 3 points off joint 7th (Salford, Crewe & Grimsby) with game in hand over Salford and Grimsby and 2 games in hand over Crewe with a far superior goal difference over all 3.

Never ever count chickens on here. Please.

Watching from afar, thankfully, the ridiculous free kick given against Pepple was game changing when some seconds later a clear push in the back was ignored. Town players (wrongly)" lost concentration. Walsall get the ultimate reward from the refs cock up and an adrenaline boost and our head drop.
Perhaps its me supping crap ale but when Duffy was through and the ref pulled a fetlock wouldn't that challange have resulted in a free kick anywhere else on the pitch, perhaps the refs plight was causing him to many problems and didn't want to depart on a controversial note.

Second Ref was god awful but ultimately we?ve been undone by giving national league players minutes in league football. Draw a line under and we go again.

Fair play to cook for being so angry for that absolute shambles. The ref made no difference to how **** we were.

Agree with Cook that the game was there for the taking. We were the better side 1 up,then Pepple missed a sitter and Duffy screwed up. Then it's the f ups at the back that are never far away and we are suddenly behind and Walsall have confidence. Game over. We don't do clean sheets so we don't do promotion this season.
