From this point, that would require 33 points from 17 games. A record of 10 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats or a variation of that.
The remaining fixtures are; (8 at home, 9 away).
A Walsall [1]
A Swindon [14]
H Crewe [5]
A Colchester [13]
H Newport [17]
A Salford [8]
A Notts County [3]
H Harrogate [20]
A Barrow [19]
H Carlisle [24]
A Tranmere [22]
H Gillingham [18]
H Fleetwood [15]
A AFC Wimbledon [4]
H Bradford [7]
H Morecambe [23]
A Accington [21]
Apart from Crewe and Bradford, all the home games are against sides currently struggling and we have to go away to 3 of the current top 4.
We should, fingers crossed, be at least going to Accrington with a chance of the play-offs.

We?re much bettter against team who come and try to play football.
Teams stugflingnear the bottom generally are fighting for every point and thus will come and park the bus.
Unless we can get an early goal to give us something to build on and invite them out a bit we might find it harder to break teams down more then b

That's true. I hope we've learned from that and will be moving the ball more quickly and utilising our new wingers' more direct wide play.

Our next 3 away games will give a good indication of where we are likely to finish. Both Swindon and Colchester are hitting a patch of form.

Blimey did you play with Berk Bowery at that Ilson trial all those years ago - why didn't you mention it?

I wouldn't have smart bottom if the previous poster had not put his name ,
We will bear Walsall just watched second half gills all over them ,Walsall defence shaky ,right side looks alot of space for an attacking winger ,,,yes they've not won since that stoke kid went back .

Mind you, teams seem to get on a run for no good reason and then suddenly lose it for no good reason. Crewe and Salford a good example

Given our injury problems I would snatch your hand off for 7th now and will fancy our chances against any team in the play offs and would be nice to beat County at Wembley
