The scabs looked awful tonight , glad I don't have to watch that every week non stop hoof ball.

Had a look on stagsnet they not to happy and some don't think they will get anything from next 4 games as they got Layton Orient , Wrexham, Blackpool, and Lincoln think they could be right and could get dragged into a relegation battle lol 😁 probably done enough earlier on to stay up unfortunately 🤔 but you never know need at least 50 points, other thing they was on about is attendance at SMH on Thursday a stag that was working here saying they was given a different figure at half time to the one announced? saying there was 7100 instead of 8700 ? anyone know owt about this?

It is the old chestnut about announcing attendees v tickets sold. All clubs announce tickets sold and I expect the fool suggested a figure of 7100 of actual attendees and therefore 1600 no shows

There looked to be 1000+.available seats in the North Stand and a good few hundred seats elsewhere but at total of 3000?

I?m not sure where another 3000 would have gone tbh.

I?d certainly dispute the 7100 figure, that means there would have been 3000 spaces around the ground, that?s the equivalent of a full West Stand to seat elsewhere.

Isn't it strange that the scabs are dubious about our attendance on a Thursday night when they'd probably struggle to get 4,000 on the same day of the week in their U shaped dump, and anyway doesn't the local soup kitchen and part-time drug dealer turn up on a Thursday?

How would someone outside the club know what the actual number of attendees were? There were plenty of unoccupied seats near me despite them being sold to season ticket holders, always more as midweek games.

The scabs probably tried counting them from still photographs but kept getting to six and gave in. They probably thought of the number of convictions one of their buddies have and cut it in two and got the magic number.

He claimed he worked at the club last night and was handed the figures. They all talk b?llocks on there tho. The bitterness is so strong. It?s like they say stuff and keep saying it so they do actually convince themselves it?s true.

It was someone called rob on stagsnet saying he worked Thursday and at half time they was given 2 set's of figures to be fair to him he did say 7100 figure he thought low and were would we have seated nearly 3000 more fans?

I'm sure the number of actual attendees would have been a few hundred shy of the 'attendance' but that would be broadly the same percentage at most clubs depending on the scheduling and importance of a game.

And, regardless of what league we?re in it?s always the weakest in history.

I agree, the NL has never been as strong as it was for the whole 6 or 7 years when they were in it and having to compete with the likes of Alfreton in local derbies.

Then, of course, L2 was astonishingly strong for the full 13 years or so they were in it and it is no wonder they took so long to get out of it.

At what level would someone have to work at Town to be party to these figures?

Sounds like summat a, say, steward would tell their mates seeking some sort of gravitas...

Yeah agreed. No way 1600 didn?t turn up. They lie. Nothing new there.

Just realised Jordan Rhodes is playing for them when he missed with that header. Seems a decent signing on paper but must be getting on a bit

Thought it had to be a different JR upon reading this.

But no, it seems it's the same erstwhile goalscorer now deemed surplus to requirements by Blackpool.

Which, of course, begs a very simple question: why would a bloke failing to find form for one outfit suddenly find it for another in the same division? Against exactly the same defences? And why would Bruce loan him to an outfit in the same division if he believed there was any hope of him doing so for his parent club?

The whole thing reeks of desperation...

Fans of the yellow stain are clearly getting nervous as they have hit their peak and now on a downward spiral back to the NL where 3 sided grounds belong and also in our shadow of fanbase and club size
