A lot has been said about Ty & Jamie, and in some cases by people who should know better.

Keep at it lads, keep showing them.

What I liked tonight was they at times just defended. There wasn?t as much playing around at the back. Suited both of them.

Yes, they were both excellent and made for a good central defensive pairing.

That's the best I've seen Ty play. His best game for the club and as this is the highest he's ever played, his best ever performance. He got his aggression and timing all right in one go. Even a couple of cross field passes.

Tyrone Williams has rarely if ever let us down. He has more than enough quality to play regularly in L2.

Don?t really understand why he?s never been that much of a regular starter for us. He?s obviously had runs of games but never been an ever present. He never seems to over think, if it needs to go it goes. We all love a cultured player but he?s not afraid to put it out of play and then get back into position. Both centre backs very solid tonight.

He?s turned into a no nonsense centre half, doesn?t put himself in trouble trying to be clever when pressure is on and just a boots it?.one of those clearances inadvertently set up MO for a chance on goal

Great performance tonight

Couldn't get my head around why when we are winning 4/1 grimes is going up for corners and free kicks when they have fetched fresh legs on up front?

Says a lot when we score five but I still give TW MoM. Just want defenders to defender ✅

Cos if he scores then it?s 5-1, which is an even bigger lead. Happy to help.

Williams has been very good in every game he?s played this year. was out of favour at the start of the season but I?d say he?s well worth another years contract as a squad CB

When Grimes plays against a big centre forward he never looks out of place. He struggles when he's against a quick nippy player who loves to run in behind. Last few weeks Grimes has been very good. I have always rated Williams, when he has come in this season he hasn't put a foot wrong. Don't get me wrong, do i think both players will be at the club come kick off next season, no.. But they are doing more than enough currently to help what could be a late play off push.

Both Ty and Grimes have been excellent this season. Whether they can cut it in a Lwague 2 title season / league 1 is another matter. Hopefully they both play a big part this season but I don?t expect either to be here next year.

There?s a proper I?m more holy than you attitude on here, it?s a football forum for opinions not the encyclopaedia brittanica, Williams has always been decent but has struggled to hold down a place, being at times 2nd fiddle to palmer who I think he is better than and Naylor who I think he is more suitable than, I?d have no problem with him and McFadzean occupying that position next season, both were excellent last nigh , plaudits and criticisms are surely part and parcel of a football forum.

Odd heart in mouth moment from Grimes but thought they had a great game against two strikers.

I think it helped they both played man to man rather than having an attacker ghosting around between them which can be our undoing.
