What an absolute superb game of football that was, they were a very good team, but we were very VERY good.
It was great to watch and you could tell it was goal laden with the chances for both sides.

Thompsons incredible treble save was so crucial in the game?

It was a superb strikers performance from Pepple, excellent forward play and two great goals
Duffy is our new Clucas, he looks a good player & good finish. Cracking finish from our new Jamal Campbell Ryce 😂
Great performance, great night and it definitely shut people on here

A bit overshadowed with Flecks illness, get well soon ❤️

That was season defining (I think Cook said as such in the pre match interview)

When you look back at great seasons gone, you can pick out a game that defines a season, 5-5 v Crewe in 2011, personally think the 3-2 v Halifax last season, and now this one, get some consistency now and it's gonna be a cracking end!

He had his tracksuit bottoms on and a black padded jacket, with the Notts County badges and his initials on.

Did seem to attract much attention, though so no big deal for me.

The area he was sat (row E seats 160ish) seems to be where ex-players and other teams managers/scouts etc sit so assume thats the 'comps' area for such tickets.

I get why he'd be there, just not in his Notts gear.

Because one of my lads couldn't make it, my other son and three of his mates tagged along (one supports Man U, one Villa and the other Preston) - they are now asking if I can get them tickets for Walsall.

That was as good as the Crewe and Donny away games.

I had an interesting night at an amazing game sat next to Chris Morgan and his friend/colleague who were monitoring Max Thompson and the Doncaster centre half for the agency they work for; I think that the Doncaster player may be a Newcastle player as well.

I tried not to bother them much but they were very approachable. At 4-1 I asked how the centre half was doing and he said alright until the fourth goal. He said that they're young but have to learn quick otherwise they'll never play above this level. He then pushed into me with his shoulder and said that the defender should have have felt where our player was and stopped him getting into position with upper body strength without committing a foul, he still looks fit and powerful btw!

It added to a brilliant evening and I think that he was just as much taken aback at Max Thompson's triple save as everyone else.

Walsall should now be very interesting, here's hoping.

Following such a great team performance I personally would rather us not be having a 'long' break.Mentioned on a couple of occasions that I had struggled to remember over the years a good after break performance.Having said that ,after the last recent weather layoff we had what I considered to be one of our best post break performances so I am hoping that was a sign because after the last game we do not want to see the shine taken off such a team effort.COYB
