Whatever keeps us away from soliyhull and oldham,I'm all for.

Being serious (which I was)the NL governing body, not being fit for purpose would have to relinquish all control to the EFL and resign to establish some form of credibility.

Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Never the twain shall meet.

Exactly my meaning regards the National League. We, as a club didn't get much out of it, but they cater for their own far better. Every club that's dropped into the cesspit have the same stories to tell.

Looking at the current board of the NL there is, like the league itself in years gone by, a very southern bias to the make up of it and also a number of teams that have been there for years now. Out of the 11 that have teams alongside them two are from Aldershot and only 3 are anything like northern teams.

Yes a cosy little southern club. When they lost Wrexham,Notts County and then us,it must have come as a real blow to the prestige of the league, and I've a feeling that if some of the other better supported ex EFL clubs gain promotion and are replaced by those supported by three men and a sheepdog, then the National League will lose TV appeal.

The bottom 5 this season in League 2 are awful. 3 will stay up due to the system.

I?d prefer bottom 2 straight down, with positions 21 and 22 in a playoff format with the National League.

It?s like the old Scottish second division whereby bad sides survived every season as the system never relegated them.

I can’t see us arguing for this anytime soon

Assuming we are promoted, at a vote which way would you prefer our representatives to vote?

Depends what league you are in, if you are a L2 club in danger of the drop surely a yes vote gives you a better chance of an easier/earlier return. You have to weigh that up against avoiding the drop and staying in the league..

There are L2 clubs like Morecambe currently who stand a good chance of falling into non league obscurity if they go down, how would you vote in their circumstances ?
God I hate this league.

Morecambe, Harrogate , Newport couldn?t see any returning if they went down.

Thats a good compromise and better than nothing. Mind a club could be dire all season but avoid bottom 2 on goal difference and have a good game in play off
