We need to put better balls into the box and we need a Will Grigg, Pepple is OK but is not the answer

He went forward with it once and looked dangerous.
Dobra looked lively.
Paddy couldn?t get hold of the ball.
Duffy and the lad from Brentford looked lively.
People offers absolutely nothing for how we play.
Oldaker had 3 runs down the middle. I noted each as I thought it was uncharacteristic of him.

Though exactly the same - that's what made it so memorable - at least a good few others saw it.
It is just not fashionable to give him any praise whatsoever although Cook singled him out for praise in the post match interview

We had consistency at the beginning of the season when we had a settled team & results proved that.
People always quick to look at negatives to poke holes
The injuries haven?t helped but even before that there was no consistency to the starting 11 so that alone can?t be blamed.
There were 4/5 changes most games - and not due to injuries. Is that to blame also?
We didn?t have consistency at the start of the season at all. We?ve won consecutive games once. Just before Christmas when we won 3 in a row and that actually saw us move up the table temporarily.
We?ve been mid table all season apart from those couple of weeks.
Why did we get in the top 7? Because we won 3 in a row.
Why have we been out of the top 7 for the rest of the season? Because we haven?t been consistent enough.
It?s not rocket science.

So was Jhon Duran.
And Rashford's available on loan...Villa look like they've beaten us to that one (and they're welcome to him. Mourinho, Ten Hag and Amorim can't all be wrong can they regarding his attitude?)

My word. A central midfielder ran forward with the ball 3 times. He'll be passing it forward next.

Unusual in a Paul Cook team I know but lets not over complicate proceedings - baby steps first

With Dinonige in charge...
And Gormless Gary has also got to be on very thin ice now... how many have Exeter shipped in 2 games, is it 10?

thought he played really well today both with and without the ball, he could have taken a strike with one of those runs but chose a lay off instead and just wish he'd have pushed duffy out of the way at the end and taken the free kick himself.

Thompson was excellent. Player as a genuine sweeper and made two outstanding interventions near the halfway line. Punched well, saved a couple.
Strange opinion

They're only memorable if you do something at the end of them.
He's certainly effective at keeping possession. Sadly, we don't get points for that. If we did we'd likely be top of the league.
