It?s gone to the dogs since Sacha Lord sold it. Oversold every event pretty much. We saw em the previous night at Bridlington Spa. Probably 2000 folk there and it was brilliant. They?ll comfortably still do the larger venues & festivals but there?s nothing quite like a smaller venue show.

Agreed, saw them yrs ago at sheff arena, but much preferred when I saw them at the sheff 02 on the comeback tour after Keith's death, that is upthere in the Top 3 concerts I've been too, (slipknot and Metallica being the other 2)
I'm off to Ynot next yr to see them in a festival setting, looking forward to that already. .

Curretly working my way through some stuff I've missed that's been topping the end of year lists.

Cindy Lee - Diamond Jubilee has placed high for a few publications, at 32 songs it's a bit of a slog but if you like 60s and 70s stuff it's worth a go. https://cindylee.ban...diamond-jubilee

I?ve a vague recollection that someone mentioned a young chesterfield lad on this thread once but I can?t remember his name. Chatting to my brother who is big into his music and I mentioned I?d watched on of these lads videos that was filmed on Robinsons land but I can?t remember his name at all and it?s annoying me!!

Really?

Now don't get me wrong the new album isn't bad, but some of the songs must have been written by Chester, they are more his style of tune, and definitely need his anger, but with the new lass they just sound like a tribute band to themselves, no way would I want to hear her singing some of the classic tracks of theirs.

May be of interest to some....Lightning Seeds playing at the Winding Wheel in October. Saw them at the Leadmill a couple of years ago and it was a good night.
