Thompson, Metcalfe
Please not Thompson.. everytime he goes to kick the ball I get ready to catch it. And I'm on the back row of the stand

Great, ... sign him up on a 10 yr contract, he kicked the ball ok in 1 game, . A game where he probs saw the ball half a dozen times all game..
It's well regarded even on here, his distribution is his weakness

If people can't have opinions on a players position then shut this board as half of the matchday posts relate to where people would like to see a player or formations or who should and shouldn't play.
Not one are telling PC, they are giving an opinion.
Now be a good boy and go back and read my post and answer my initial question.
Well you have an opinion that cook should play him elsewhere, it amounts to the same.

So, does that mean the coach will not be working on it,and does it mean he will not be trying to improve that side of his game? Are you suggesting he is not capable of improving his game?
I think it is valid to say that keepers do improve with age and experience, more so than outfield players. Not disagreeing that he needs improving in certain areas, but I think it fair to say that any time spent watching MOD or the EFL show highlights how even at the top end of the pyramid how any keeper could improve their game.

You?re right. We definitely need to write him off and send him back to Newcastle. He should probably be flogged in front of the Gallowgate End as well.
In all seriousness, his kicking is clearly an area he can improve on but he’s a decent keeper. We need to remember he’s a kid that played less than 50 pro games. I think he will have a solid career.

He had zero pressure, they had ten men for 65 minutes, I doubt he can I improve his right foot much at 20. , he runs round the ball to get onto his left, it?s huge flaw for him which is a shame ,

Colclough showed on Tuesday night that he can still make an impact when he came on as a sub.
Maybe, we will have to manage his minutes but with young Duffy now here permanently that should not be too difficult.

Duffy looks a decent permanent addition. We could have left it while the end of the season to put a bid in for him,but if he has a decent half season with us, I'm sure Lincoln would able to hold an auction that we may not have won. Well done to all involved in bringing in the lad.

Don't talk wet. Just read the Cheltenham thread snd there's loads of opinions on who should play and where they should play. In the January thread there's opinions who who shoul go out on loan. So by your twisted hypothesis they sre sll telling PC who to play, where to play them, who yo keep and who to let go.
You need to go on those threads and call them all out.

It appears the intention was to sign him all along, the loan made it possible for him to play on Tuesday whilst the structure of the deal could be agreed between both clubs, which has now happened. I think this could turn out to be another good bit of business.
