Far too important to let go and tonight undelined that hes our only real attacking option.

Dobra just fits our style of play so well. He's like the Duracell bunny, he goes on forever at the same manic pace. His centre of gravity is lower than a curling stone, which makes it hard for defenders to roll with him. He doesn't get injured very much and he has a lot of strength for a player so diminutive.
Let's hope he stays with us for a while yet and keeps doing what he does best and that's scaring defenders to death.

That's why I'm repeatedly yelling 'Give the ball to Dobra!' As we get to within 30 yards of the opposition goal then spend ages passing left, right, centre, back, left..... etc etc. Dobra is the only player we have, who will run directly at the opposition defence (plus Colclough when on form).

Being reported dobra has numerous suitors including Stockport but we are keen not to sell this window. Wonder if that puts pay to the ?release clause? argument - sounds like decision is in our hands.

I think it is a more likely scenario that dobra leaves in the summer if promotion doesn?t happen. I half expected us to lose him this summer but he has proven that he can easily cope with the EFL. I wouldn?t be surprised if a big offer comes in during June/ July and we see him leave

Unless a very lucrative bid comes in from a Championship club, both for us and him, I’d, fingers crossed, expect him to be here until the summer. I?d see no real advantage of him leaving for L1 in this window. Those clubs would still be interested in the summer and we might even join them. Then, even if we did go up this year, I?d be very surprised to see him still here next season.
Just to add his demeanour both with his performances and his reaction when he scored last night are a world away from that of Berry, who seemingly wanted away, in recent weeks.

Surely it would have to be close to a million quid to tempt us at this stage.

He's integral to what we're about and he's been superb for us since he walked through the door.

Regardless of the interest, I would hope that we are in the process of acknowledging his performances and what he means to us by offering him a new, extended contract which puts him on top money. Give him something to think about.

To be honest he?s probably our best assets since the sale of Doyle and Clucas. With a bit of fine tuning he would walk into most first 11s in League 1, and some bottom half championship sides.

Unless it?s 1 million in cash I?d tell anyone to do one.

He?s already at the top end of our wage structure when he signed his last extension

I guess if he continues his form and leads us to a successful second half of the season, his agent will be more confident in getting him a Championship gig, so would be happy to bide his time and not go for a L1 offer at this point

I hope not?

At that point he was a stand out NL player, surely we wouldn?t have given him similar sized deals as the likes of Grigg, Naylor, Dunkley etc all seasoned pros with experience much higher up the ladder?

That said, he?s more than proving himself at this level and any new deal should, and hopefully will, reflect that.

He's 24 in April. Is that relevant?

He was Man of the Match against West Brom a couple of years ago.

Armando Dobra is a Tairn player until summer twenty twenty six.

So if he's to go, it'll be on our terms.

Especially as he's at the top of his game, no hint of wantaway sulks whatsoever.

And the Blues Brothers show no signs of Allen-esque fire sales either.

Relax and have faith in them and Cook...

Giddings from radio Sheffield tweeted about it earlier.

And since his co-commentator last night happened to be Armando's new agent (I am told,) you might expect that he spoke from a position of authority.
