I thought their tactics very strange seeing as they were 1-0 down.
You'd expect a team losing and a man down to show a bit of urgency.
Even when the ball went out for their throwing, they refused to rush the ball back in play.
I know it's a famous tactic of theirs to waste time and break/slow the game but all I saw was them wasting their own time - like they were happy with a 1-0 loss

I think is more to stay in the game for as long as possible waiting for that
free kick or corner in the last 5 mins to snatch goal. They pushed forward late on hence we opened them up to finish off the game.

Who else thought the challenge on Liam Mandeville, a few yards in from the corner flag in the second half, was a fair shoulder charge, because I know Mandy didn't, and with him 100%. I couldn't believe it wasn't a free kick and a yellow card. The linesman was right there and the ref wasn't far away, but nothing given. Oh well it was Bromley after all.

Thats never getting given to be honest whether he thinks it was or not.....however you can guarantee had it been attacker on defender it would be given. One of those areas where there seems to be different rules over what can be a foul.

Once the red card came out, it was as though he didn't want to give us anything afterwards, but it doesn't help when they're in the ref's ear all the time. The dark arts didn't work last night, but I've no doubt the same cons will be played out in the next game. I still think it was a foul and a yellow card though lol.

Some of his team's tactics aside, I like him. He's a big personality with a good sense of humour and the job he's done at Bromley speaks for itself. If a job ever came up here, he'd be on my shortlist to meet with.

He let himself down last night. We all saw what he got sent off for, but on the other hand not many of us saw him giving Dobs a big hug in the tunnel after the final whistle. What Dobs did to deserve that treatment however, I'm not sure 😂.

Are you being a little mischievous here?

A team plays too a managers instructions and when a team have been a set of sh..houses for as long as we've had the pleasure of crossing swords with them, I don't want my team playing like that

He like Garrard (short spell out notwithstanding) at BW have received praise for the jobs they are doing but you have to ask why have they spent so long at these clubs, surely they have ambition. So why doesn't anyone take a punt?

Would love to be in on a recruitment interview at Bromley/Boring Wood/Soilyhull etc,,. with new players, and your best assett is.......?And why would anyone want to be recruited in to that type of environment anyway?

See in Tooley's Take that Araujo has gone back to Fulham for treatment but is still a CFC player.

It was possibly a foul as he cleaned him out without really playing the ball but not sure it was a yellow card offence....i always try to flip it and wonder how i'd feel if it was a town player doing it and the ref gave a foul and booked someone for doing it. In this case i'd probably be a bit annoyed had he given the foul let alone a booking.

If he shoulder barges him in the back then yes its a foul but it seemed more shoulder to shoulder. I said at the time to my mate that Mandeville just needed to be a bit more clever and get across in front of the defender to draw a foul which he didnt do. In fact he had a bit of a head start for the sprint to the ball and got overtaken.

It depends who the intended victim was.

To be fair to Mandy he wasn't expecting a shoulder charge and didn't brace him for the impact and there player didn't it as intent whether he got the ball or not in his case but then you can drop down in the box on a mere bump and the ref gives a free kick yet again no consistency

I wouldn't hire him over Cookie. That said and with hindsight, would he have proved to have been a better appointment than every other manger which we've appointed since Cookie left in 2015?

I was impressed by any of their players, Cheeky boy and Kabamba never got a sniff thanks to Grimes and McFaz.

Danny Wilson was the one who, with backing could have stabilised us in L1.

Also, did anyone think the challenge on McFadz that forced him off was a bit naughty, or just someone putting themselves about?

Never easy to decide if accidental or intentional with teams like Bromley, which once again I find a sad indictment of their ethics.

Did Carson miss a trick here? if he'd employed someone of such negativity as woodman would it have diverted some of the rightful flack aimed at Carson by the supporters with them concentrating on the more visual sh..housery exploits on the pitch?

Very. Louis Dennis, a committed but naughty challenge.

As regards to Woodman, he turned down Gillingham the other season.

Danny Imray, their number 25, Crystal Palace, (his parent club) have turned down a ?750k bid from Wycombe for him.
