It would be a tempting offer to the powers that be, should that offer be made. Unless quality replacements were immediately lined up you could probably kiss this season goodbye immediately though.

Personally, I'd snatch their hands off. Season is pretty much over. It'll take incredible consistency to get into the playoffs, and we are toothless up top.

No need to. I think with his continued performances and adding to his tally his value won?t go down. But I think if we don?t go up I?d be surprised if he didn?t move up in the summer.

Incredible view Mr Misnomer considering the play - off possibilities and the fact we could have our big injured players back.
God I hate this league.

Could, being the operative word.

As I see it, Dave; we'd need five wins on the spin, to effectively challenge the playoffs positions - considering who we have coming up, coupled with our toothless attack, I just can't see it happening.

I honestly thought Madden would be quality; every time I've seen him, he's been gash. He's certainly no Grigg. So, who are we left with? Colclough looks like he's dragging a ball and chain around with him.

Doesn?t look like cook and co think the season is over. Don?t make 5 signings if you don?t think something is to play for.

Really hoping PC,his staff and the squad have a more optimistic attitude for the second half of the season rather than regarding it being 'pretty much over'.
One from the Gordon Brittas Oracle I would say.

Grigg takes a lot of hammer on the pitch and a bit of stick from some fans. As far as I'm concerned, his absence has highlighted just how good a player he is. We've badly missed him.

One of the best CF we?ve had in a long time. His overall play and positional sense in the box is fantastic. He?s been unlucky to get injured this year.

33 goals in 58 appearances doesn?t tell the whole story - but anyone who doesn?t rate him IMO is miles off the mark.

Back to Dobs, it's always easy spending someone else's money but as I see it his next contract offer here needs to put him on top money, possibly making him the second or third highest paid player at the club.

Says more about the braincells in sections of our fan base than anything else. Totally agree

It?s nonsense that?s been going on for a while. Same with the ones commenting on stuff about Duffy signing and saying it means Dibra is going!!

Totally agree. Will had somewhat of a slow start and some people seem to have never forgiven him, but he has been fantastic. Hope Madden after a similar slow start can start to do the business but it?s not looking hopeful.

Completely agree. One of the best CF we have ever had in terms of all round game, and he?s completely irreplaceable. Does anyone know when he?s due back? Is it just a few weeks away or are we looking more longer term?

I totally agree mate,Will Grigg is a class striker, and when he was brought into the club I was more than chuffed. I've never thought he's had a stinker of a game while being here, and there's not many in the squad who see his movement or he'd have more goals than he has. He could go on till he's approaching forty because he uses guile not speed.
