Isn?t it great to be playing traditional league sides, though, in the real league, with decent away followings, instead of semi-pro timewasters who bring tiny followings?
These go to eleven.

I thought that as a great match, really unlucky not to have all 3 points & deserved to have won?but at half time you?d have taken a point.

I thought McFadz & Dobra were superb

Would have taken that before the game and after 5 mins but after the game wore on it feels like 2 points lost. I feel we will batter Bromley

We won?t ever batter anyone if we won?t shoot.
Their keeper didn?t make a single save in the second half.
How can you have 90%+ possession second half without a shot?

Playing against 10 men at home, and we still keep playing across the halfway line, WHY for gods sake.

We weren?t unlucky at all.
Unlucky is their keeper making 4 worldies, hitting the post, the bar and having balls cleared off the line.
How many of those happened?

Solid point against a strong team. Obviously prefer 3 but folk seem to forget there is an opposing team that are trying equally hard to win the game. We?re in a mini transition with the players we have lost and brought in. It would be dim witted to think they will all just instantly click.

Have to say I'm disappointed in that. Had the ball for the entire second half and failed to create a thing barring the equaliser which seemed to be their mistake.

It isn't going forward while Oldaker has anything to do with it. He's an absolute gift to the opposition, who know they have plenty of time to organise when he's on the ball. We're over-fond of the slow build-up sometimes, but Oldaker takes it to ridiculous lengths. Metcalfe looked very rusty, but at least he gave the game a bit more momentum.
Colclough is either struggling with an injury or too slow for this level. I hope it's the slight injury and he manages to shake it, but full-backs in this league are more than a touch quicker and more savvy than last season.

Sparkes movement was good and he linked well with Dobra. His final ball was very poor though. That was one of the reasons why we never actually looked like scoring in the second half.

I think they probably would have ended up with another sending off too. Priority for next season is a couple of ball playing midfielders who attack the box, someone of the Roberts and O?Shea mold.
