Can see Paul Warne getting his marching orders if Derby lose tonight.

Derby do have a bottom 3rd budget and were never going to challenge but could be in serious bother and Warne has only ever took sides down from the division. Plus his football is rotten to watch.

Just had a massive helping hand from the officials to stay in it at 1-0?.no one has a clue why the Sunderland second goal was disallowed about 30 seconds after it happened.

One for Clarevoyant to get his teeth into?.some talk that Sunderland?s second goal that was mysteriously disallowed was due to the 4th official telling the ref there was a handball after seeing it on a pitch side monitor!

Did I read he has a financial interest in the company that owns the club?

I've no idea, this is the 1st I've heard of said incident. Aren't the only monitors available being clubs personal ones in their own technical area, if he saw the incident 'live' on one of these, what was he doing looking at it and ignoring his duties. If he was asked to look at a replay,(are these possible)and he did, well as a precedent the connotations are incalculable.

Surely it's a case of Leeds being Leeds and adding 2&2 and getting some ridiculous yarkshire answer, you would hope.

Edit just looked and it was Sunderland being true makems

Its a strange one and a good 12 hours later there is still no understanding of the incident. Some are claiming the above about the ref being told of a handball by the 4th official having seen it on a monitor or now that a Sunderland player is offside...although he wasnt offside when the ball was played back on the halfway line and they deemed him interfering due to a Derby player running straight into the back of him.

Incident is here at just before 2mins in.

Can't see a deal wrong with that, will there be an official explanation, doubtful, but you'd hope so, as you don't want people believing that 4th officials can influence decisions with the aid of clubs personal screens, we'd never get to the pub.

Just for interest the ref refereed our first NL game at Ebbsfleet and he gave us a penalty unfortunately he didn't turn out to be a trend setter

I was watching the game at the time and on the replay there looked like there could be a Sunderland handball in the box. That was the only possible infringement. What was more bizarre was the Sunderland commentators (the Derby one kept buffering), who were presumably in the ground, thought the goal had been given for a good minute after play had restarted. They clearly weren't paying much attention themselves.

Off at a tangent but how satisfying was the finish pinging in off the crossbar. Any goal that goes in off the bar is automatically 100% more aesthetic. Thems the rules.

By all accounts he's had some mares since moving up into the league since.

It was very confusing, i was watching via Sky Sports Plus with their commentators and they didnt have a clue what had gone off and neither did Clinton Morrison who was watching the game in the Sky Sports News studio. It does rebound up off Le Fee but the ref is looking straight at that and doesnt give it. Both he and the assistant on the far side initially walk back to the halfway line appearing to have given the goal and they cut to the celebrations which carry on for a while before it starts to materialise that its been disallowed.

I suppose for the first time, Clin'on Morrison can be excused for not having a clue.

Maybe mutual consent reading his statement.

Think his position was untenable after slagging his players off post-match last week.

Either way, he?s gone.

Can't help like the bloke through his Town connections - still see him knocking about quite often - but inevitable, really.

He'll get another gig...
