Very simplistic view imho.
I think the removal of the WFP, the betrayal of the Waspi women, the labelling of vast swathes of the electorate as far right are stances that simply won?t be forgotten. There?s no chance of a Labour victory at the next election if Starmer is still leading the party, he is simply viewed as poison by too many. The only hope they have is a split in the right of centre vote. And yes the next election is a good few years away but watching this implosion, humiliation and embarrassment of Starmer and his government on an almost daily basis is making it very bearable indeed.

Your views are not exactly representative of the wider electorate mate and I am looking forward to collecting my bottle of Shiraz....Oh and another SKS landslide in 4 and a half years time! :D

Well I liked how he shouted about America being first to split the atom, build the first railways and invent the car. He certainly doesn't understand history

I'm suprised he didn't mention how John Wayne won the 2nd world war

It's called politics mate. I am certain they both still privately view Trump as exactly that as he is still a dangerous, misogynist, racist scumbag....

The thing is Labour are thankfully now in power and obviously didn't expect said dangerous, misogynist, racist scumbag to get back into the White House...and neither did I tbh. Though you can't account for the stupidity of the Americans!

Ergo, for the sake of international relations they now have to deal with the moron and can't publicly say the same. No hypocrisy, can't blame them for avoiding it like the plague and the idiot in chief was unfortunately present!!!!

The idiots Farage and Bozza were presumably there letting off party poppers too....

We're going there, again? People are 'stupid' for voting a way that you don't agree with. We had the same here, with Brexit. Stupid, ignorant, xenophobic, racist....

Just like here, their choice was limited.
Biden was an absolute joke; Harris was as pathetic as Truss....but, because she's 'black'* and a Democrat, that's all that seemed to matter.

*When it suited her, in order to appeal to a certain demographic. However, before becoming the Democrat presidential candidate, she was banging on about being Indian and her Indian heritage. Showing such duplicity, doesn't fill a voter with confidence; your credibility starts to be questioned.

To be fair to Liz Truss she was miles better than Harris

🤣😂 I've already told you about this; civil and legal are completely different. You keep calling him a rapist, but there's zero evidence to substantiate your allegation.

Why don't you try putting in a similar amount of effort into calling out your brethren, who have ACTUALLY been racially and religiously raping thousands of young, white and Sikh girls...bit weird, that.

In fact, why don't you put out some social media posts, telling your brethren how disgusted you are with their behaviour and that your 'community' needs to get on the streets, and March in protest....just like you/they do for Palestine; was for the children, no?

That?s not what they said. They said the figure was unlikely to be ?22bn.

They said in Feb there was a ?9.5bn black hole and later that further plans would exacerbate this.

A very simplistic view if you think I inferred that it will win them the election. I did not. Neither have I supported many of their policies. I take no joy in the current downturn in our economy either.

And of course there was a financial disaster awaiting the Tories when they replaced Blair....which gave us austerity which Labour constantly voted against and whinged about... but then they complain the previous govt have spent too much and not been open about it. I mean, what do they want / did they expect....

I'm not sure that they wont have peed off so many groups by the next election that another win would be impossible...but maybe letting kids vote will do it....

I know some Americans who were planning on voting for Trump when the option was Biden v trump and they are anything but stupid. As they said, we have a choice between two and one might actually improve the economy and living standards so we will hold our nose and vote that way....

At least we have multiple parties to vote for and different views in each so you dont have to hold your nose and vote for the one of two who is least bad... unless you have been indoctrinated that only one is good for your "class"

Which all explains the politics of short termism and politicking.

And yep 16yos will probably keep them in.

Also said they could not confirm a black hole a statement confirmed by Badenoch in Parliament when she went further saying there was no black hole. I suppose it depends on which narrative one believes. Me? I believe they lied and made the black hole a go to phrase when under pressure to alleviate their guilt confirmed by the over use of the phrase at every conceivable opportunity. It was just too manufactured to be credible.

I, too, believe the sound byte was just a way to excuse some of the Labour budgetary decisions and as a mud slinging exercise against the Tories.

That said I don?t rate Badenoch as a leader or would immediately trust what she says. Same goes for Starmer. I choose to question both their narratives. Reading reports from Fullfacts, the IFS and OBR I do believe there was uncovered spending which were fiscally irresponsible.

Pardoning the rioters is the most crazy thing I?ve ever seen.
Breaking into a gov building, looting and violence and fully pardoned by the President?
Unbelievable

I think allowing a president to pardon people just because he can is absolutely ludicrous and they are both as bad as each other.

Oh for the days of Obama...

But its not the numbers that matter but who and why. My guess is the democrats are clearing up the mess the republicans have caused ;)
